Seth’s Perspective
We came. We saw. We kicked Disney’s ass (or maybe it kicked ours, we were all wiped out). We hit every park, and between us all, I think we rode every single ride, greeted every damn character, and bought one of every freaking souvenir in Orlando. It was an action-packed ‘acation with a massive crowd of incredible human beings. I mean seriously, the adults all had a great time doing their thing at night (whatever that may have been), but during the day, they rallied and made sure every kid felt like the most important person in the world. So many moments, so many memories… so much damn money! But Kelly, the eternal optimist, said “if we break down the money into cost per smile, we got a bargain” (ugh, I got a headache from rolling my eyes into the back of my head so hard at that, but I knew she was right).
We blew it out right on our last night there. We got home early from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the last park on our tour, then all got together at HQ for a farewell dinner. Brody and Max made an incredible low country boil, Kelly and BA bought every damn dessert they could find, and Mauricio and Jordy made a crapload of snacks, sides, and appetizers. Me and Gina organized games for the kids, including a kid-Olympics in and around the pool. The kids were hilarious as they all competed in the crazy games like ping pong using a balloon and paddles made from paper plates, walking the “balance beam” (fine it was a 2x4 on the ground), swimming with water wings, hopscotch, and a bunch of other games dreamed up by our resident soon-to-be assistant principal, Gina. We were having a great time on our own, at home, no park, just (cheap) homemade fun. It was a great way to end our trip. Before we left Kev and Randy’s. we all said goodbye… those of us driving back to Wilmington were leaving in the wee hours of the morning (as always, our strategy was to get in as many miles as possible while the kids slept), and the rest of our gang had flights out of Orlando throughout the day.
It was hard saying goodbye to everyone and heading back to reality. All three of our kids handed out hugs of appreciation to everyone without even being prompted. I couldn’t help but notice that Alex, Mr. ‘kids aren’t my thing’ squeezed every kid longer and harder than anyone. I saw him tear up a little when Freddy ran up to him and said, “Uncle Alex, remember this?” and held out a penny he had found in the floor of the Amphicar. “It’ll bring y’all good luck on the airplane ride.” The guncles got a lot out of this trip, they had their grownup fun at night, and spent their days being admired by a bunch of tiny humans. After a tear-filled goodbye, our gang took the kids back to our respective quarters and put them down for the night. Me and Zach packed everything up in the Atlas for our long journey back. Then we had our final cocktail of ‘acation with Brad and Scotty in the hot tub. It was a nice end to a chaotically fun week. We jumped into bed to try to get a few hours sleep before we hit the road.
The alarm blared in the middle of the night and woke us, we fumbled our way into the shower, then around the townhouse collecting the last of our paraphernalia and packing it into the Atlas. Brad & Scotty got up with us, and Kev & Randy met us in the drive to help us load the kids in the SUV and see us off. We had another tearful goodbye at the butt crack of dawn, then we got in line behind Grandpa Daddy’s RV with Gina’s Brood, and The BroMax posse; The Carolina Caravan was ready to hit the road for the long trek back home. To my surprise, all our family and friends, even the Guncles came outside to wave goodbye. It had been a great trip, but it was time to go home.
I rode with Freddy and Teddy in the RV for the first leg so that Zach and his Dad could ride together and discuss Karen’s situation. We had talked Nathan into staying for the rest of the trip instead of heading back to save Karen… frankly there wasn’t shit he could do for her until the Parole Board met anyway, and they were in no hurry. They were fine keeping her behind bars and out of trouble… frankly, so was I. I know that sounds bad, but I was done with her. Anyway, I had planned on sleeping in the RV, there was an empty master bedroom with my name on it, but Freddy and Teddy kept me up playing road games (The license plate game, I spy, twenty questions, and a bunch of others) … I have no regrets. Freddy and Teddy were going into second grade, Izzy and Maggie were moving onto pre-K (oh my god, they went from babies to little people overnight). I could sleep anytime, but our vacation was almost over and I wanted to suck every second out of my time with the kids.
After a while the two boys got bored and Grandpa Daddy let them take turns in the co-pilots seat of the “Arby’s” and they were loving it. Meanwhile, I was sitting at the table having coffee with Kelly and BA, I had to admit, it was a dang nice way to travel. We talked about the highlights of our trip, and how none of us were all that anxious to get back to the real world. Especially Kelly. She and Nathan were heading back to Wisconsin in less than a week. Nathan was finishing out his final term as Mayor, then putting his small firm up for sale so they could (semi) retire in Wilmington permanently. Kelly was not looking forward to leaving her grandbabies to start dismantling the life they had spent building for their family in Wisconsin over almost three decades… but she did feel great about being closer to all of us permanently. We talked away for a couple of hours, and before we knew it, it was time for a gas break.
We all pulled up to the pumps at Buc-ees. When I opened the door of the RV, Izzy and Ali were standing below looking up at me. “You wont dao when we waked up. Ali was sad, he cwied. You ow a bad daddy” Izzy barked at me with a sad face that was red from crying. I picked the pitiful toddler up, kissed her and held her in my arms. She instantly laid her head on my shoulder.
“Ali was sad, huh?” I asked.
“Yeah, he cwied.”
“How about you? Were you sad when I wasn’t there.”
“No” she said into my shoulder and accented it with a sniffle, “I a big guro.” There was something so dang sweet about her not wanting to admit she missed me.
“Well, I missed you… a lot” I said. “I’m so happy to see you.” That got me a kiss on the cheek and a sleepy smile. I felt something on my leg, I looked down. Ali was hugging my leg as he quietly awaited his turn.
He gave me a smile and a “Hi Daddy Zeff.”
“Hi bud, did you sleep well? I missed you,” he just nodded and smiled.
Maggie was up and running towards us, so I put the now comforted and slowly awakening Izzy down on the ground so she could go play with her bestie. Then I picked up Ali up for my morning kiss, he wrapped his tiny arms around my neck and hugged me tight, “I missed you too” he chirped. That kid was so flipping sweet. He was quiet and took everything in, I always wondered how much he understood about the world around him, in my mind he understood it all and was extremely introspective. I imagined him having an intelligent critique about each of us and everything that went on around him… like a tiny little, silent genius. The thought made me smile.
The three of us went into Buc-ees for a bathroom break. When we came back out, caravan chaos was in full force. The kids were all awake, the adults were all caffeined-up, and Kelly and BA had already walked across the street to The Waffle House to pull tables together and get them ready for our breakfast invasion. Freddy and Teddy were telling Maggie and Izzy how much fun they had in the “Arby’s.” So of course, the girls demanded their turn after breakfast. We split up the boys and girls for the short ride across the street to The Waffle House (We had the boys in the Atlas, so Zach got all the details of the ride with Grandpa Daddy and the grandmas).
Thanks to Kelly and BA, the Waffle House was ready for all of us, and as always, we were loud. The kids and adults all talked over each other reliving the highlights of the trip. Then in the middle of it all Freddy yelled across the table to me and Zach, “When can momma come over for dinner so I can show her my Jedi robe?” Shit, my heart sunk, we were gonna have to tell him sooner or later.
“Let’s figure it out when we get home” Zach said for the save. Surprisingly, Freddy was good with that answer and went back to talking about whatever he and Teddy were talking about. Zach and I exchanged looks before going back to eating our greasy breakfast, we were dreading the conversation. It would break hi little heart.
Our vacation had been so much fun, I didn’t want it to end. None of us did… especially the kids. So, as we got near the end of breakfast, there was a bit of a fight over who was going to ride in the RV. Freddy and Teddy tried to lay claim because they were the oldest, Izzy and Maggie argued, and I quote, “It da guro tone. Boys wide in da cow now.” Ali walked up to Kelly and said, “I want to ride with you grandma” Clear as a bell, complete with puppy dog eyes and an irresistible smile… well played, little man. Well played. I had to give the boy credit. Grandma Kelly totally fell for it as she lifted him and said, “well, maybe you could all ride with us.”
“I’m good if y’all are” BA responded as she looked at the grandpa’s. They both just kinda shrugged as if to say, ‘why the hell not?’ The next thing I knew, we were handing over diaper bags, ad snacks, and loading the kids into Grandpa Daddy’s mobile daycare. The twins stayed with Max and Brody… those two were extremely (over) protective of their two little ladies and there was no way in hell they were letting the girls join the daycare on wheels. Once everyone was settled, we hit the road again.
It was just me and Zach in the Atlas, it was so damn quiet! I kept looking over my shoulder to check on the kids… old habits die slowly. Zach drove and we held hands on the console as we got in line with the caravan. We were only on the road a few minutes when Gina texted, ‘OMG, it’s so quiet in here. I LOVE THIS!’ with a bunch of heart emoji’s. I sent back a laugh emoji, then turned my attention to Zach.
We started talking about Karen and what to do. “Dad meets with her in front of the parole board when we get back” Zach said. “He talked to her the other day and she swears that she had no contact with Johnny Black since he threatened me in the parking garage, and he showed up unannounced. Things got rough and a neighbor called the cops.”
“Does Nathan believe her?”
“She claimed he kicked in the door, Dad called Jason and he confirmed it. He said he had to replace the door.” Zach paused and squeezed my hand. “What do you think?”
“I think the stupid bitch should’ve never contacted the guy once she got out of jail, and this is still all her own damn fault” I squeezed Zach’s hand out of frustration as my voice got louder, and my rant continued. “Furthermore, I am sick and tired of bailing her ass out. I mean seriously, how many times is she gonna pull this shit before she gets her act together?! I’m tired of her letting the kids down.”
I was livid and yelling, like I said, I was out of fucks to give for Karen. I was mid-bitch when Zach shouted, “brace yourself,” and then did the stop short move putting his hand on my chest to keep me from going through the windshield, and looked in the back seat to check on the kids who weren’t there (like I said, old habits die hard). Then it happened. *BAM*! We got hit by some dipshit weaving in and out of traffic. He hit our back left quarter panel, side-swiped us, and then the fucker kept going. They zoomed around the other cars and past the RV as Zach guided the wounded Atlas onto the shoulder of the highway. Max and Brody were behind us and followed us off the road. Gina and Dylan were ahead of us, with the RV ahead of them leading the caravan. Gina called just as we were pulling off the road.
“Are you guys, okay?!” She shouted.
“I think so” I said still a little stunned by the fast action.
“I got the license number, and Dylan is calling 911 now. Stay on the shoulder we’ll circle back” she said as the Atlas came to a stop on the shoulder with the BroMax Pacifica right behind us.
Max bounced out of the minivan and ran over to check on us while Brody stayed inside with the twins. “Are you guys, okay?” Max asked.
“Yeah, but the side of the Atlas is fucked up” Zach said as we all inspected the car. Yeah, the guy left his calling card on the driver’s side, but at least it was drivable, and most importantly no one was hurt.
The Georgia State Patrol showed up in just a few minutes… in fact they got there before the RV and the rest of our gang. Apparently, the same car that hit us had hit someone else a couple miles back and they troopers were on his trail already. We were talking to the officer when they pulled off the road and onto the shoulder in front of us.
Nathan was the first out of the RV, followed by Grandpa Daddy who said, “Y’all need to go in that RV and show those kids y’all are ok. They’re worried aboutcha’.” We looked up to see the kids looking out of the back window of the RV taking it all in.
Zach kept talking to the trooper while I went over to the RV and joined the others inside. “Daddy, that guy hit you and kept goin’” Freddy said. “You okay?”
“We’re fine, Bud. Just a little damage to the car… it’s no big deal.”
“He a bad guy” Izzy added as she hugged my legs, and Ali came up for hug. I lifted him into my arms, and then I sat down at the table (which was covered with some kind of art project), and the kids piled on me and we talked about the accident. The kids all had a lot to say, and I pity the driver if Izzy ever gets a hold of him. Kelly and BA went to check on the damage to the car and the other parents joined us in the RV (except for Zach who was still dealing with the trooper, and Brody who was dutifully minding the twins in the air conditioned minivan).
We hung out on the side of the freeway for about a half hour before Zach finished his business. “Well, they caught the guy when he hit a third car several miles up” Zach said as he entered the RV. “He’s in custody and they’re going to send me all the paperwork” he concluded with a sigh.
“Well, that’s enough excitement for one day” Kelly said in her ‘I’m taking control voice’ which was all too familiar. “BA found a motel with a pool and RV parking a few exits up; I booked us some rooms…our vacation is officially extended.” As much as I wanted to get home, I knew Kelly was right. We just needed to stop, and call it a night… we all agreed and off to the tacky motel we went.
I have to admit, the unexpected stop turned out to be fun. The place was tacky, and a little dirty, but we made it fun for the kids. After splashing around in the pool for a while, we ordered pizza and ate in the RV. Grandma BA suggested a sleepover in the RV, and of course the kids went insane for the idea!! The two older boys slept in the compartment above the driver’s seat, the two girls got the kitchen table that converted into a bed, and the two little guys shared the pullout couch. The kids were lovin’ it and so was Granny BA!
Meanwhile, me and Zach had a dirty motel room all to ourselves. We stripped naked and got under the covers. The old bed creaked in agony, and the rough sheets smelled like bleach. “You know what this reminds me of?” Zach asked. I knew exactly what he was thinking.
“The move from St Louis to Wilmington?”
“Yup, all that’s missing is Petunia” Zach answered. We stopped at this dirty, kind of sleezy motel when we were hauling all our crap from St Louis to our new home in North Carolina… that seemed like decades ago, but in reality, it had only been a few years, a few kids, a farmhouse rehab, and dozens of villagers ago.
“That move turned out to be an awesome decision” I said as my lips pecked his.
“Yup, for me too. Only second to the decision to marry your fine ass” he said chuckling, then slid his tongue past my lips. Within seconds we were full-on at it.
I rolled on top of him and ground my stiffening manhood into his. We moaned into each other’s mouths as out naked bodies wriggled and writhed in a lust-driven frenzy. Zach had moved his hands to my sweaty ass and pulled my ass cheeks apart. His fingers toyed with my yearning pucker making my moans even louder. Zach maneuvered so that his cock was lined up with my hole and tried to push himself in. “Where’s the lube?” I whispered.
Zach looked around the room, “shit. It’s in the car.”
“Then you got some work to do” I said as I flipped around and sat on his face. Zach knew the drill, if he wanted my ass, he’d have to get it ready. His expert tongue made its way up and down my crack, lapping, licking, and leaving a trail of natural lube. He pulled my cheeks apart and pushed his wet tongue into me. Oh, my flipping god, my hot jock was tongue fucking me. I leaned down and licked his throbbing rocket like it was a popsicle and it was 110 degrees Fahrenheit outside. I swear, I licked every teeny tiny pour of that fleshsicle, slobbering and slathering it up in preparation for its welcome invasion of my sweaty hole. Meanwhile, back at my ass… Zach had lubed me up and prepared me for anything. It was time.
I flipped around and sat on his fleshsicle; the head popped in sending waves of pleasure through my weary body. I sank myself lower and lower onto him until I had disappeared his rod of pleasure and was writhing on his lap. I looked down to see a look of lustful satisfaction on Zach’s face before I leaned down and kissed him. I could taste my ass on his lips, but frankly it just added to the dirty fun. I took a break from his lips to get a whiff of his pits… they were ripe from standing on the side of the highway. Holy fuck, that lit a fire in me. I started moving my ass up and down his mighty fuck stick as my lips devoured his. I was a goddamn animal! Zach’s cock could’ve been ten times the size and it wouldn’t have been enough to satisfy my carnal lust. I was loving this. Zach just lay there while I fucked myself on him… what else could the poor guy do. I may have technically been bottoming, but I was in-con-fucking-trol. Eventually I broke our kiss and sat upright while I bounced in abandon. The room was filled with my moans of pleasure, creaking bed springs, and the sounds of his ample balls slapping my ass like a scorned woman slapping an over zealous suitor.
I was jacking myself off as I bounced when Zach grunted, “Keep bouncing, I am so close.” His hands were on my ass and he was pretending to guide me up and down, but let’s face it, I was in charge and making the decisions. I bounced higher, faster, and harder until Zach grunted with glee as he bred my hole. I could feel his warmth inside me as his swimmers lubricated my hole. Fuck, if we were a straight couple, we’d be expecting number four in nine months! Inspired by his climax, I shot my own load. It hit him square in the jaw and flooded his face. Spurt after spurt of glorious man juice covered my bliss entrenched husband. My bouncing slowed, then stopped as I sat on Zach’s lap with his pole softening in my ass. I leaned forward and licked my cum off his indescribably handsome face, then we ended with a cum-flavored kiss. I rolled off, got into the little spoon position, and we fell asleep in our own filth.
Morning came all too soon. The alarm went off early, we jumped into the small shower together, and barely dressed ourselves before the kids were pounding on the door. Freddy was all excited about his adventure in the Arby’s, Ali was all smiles (as always) and ready to start his day, and Izzy was grumpy. Why? We had no clue... but if we had learned nothing else about being Izzy’s parents, we had learned to just go with the flow and don’t poke the princess. We all got dressed and ready to tackle the day, then walked across the parking lot with the rest of our gang to breakfast at yet another Waffle House. By the time we got there we were all in good moods.
We sat at the table, the waitress came, and Freddy blurts out, “hashbrowns please, smothered, covered, chunked, diced, capped, and topped.” Then added, “thank you, ma’am.” Oh my god, he knew Waffle House lingo… we’d been on the road too long. The adults all laughed as the waitress smiled at him, gave him a ‘yes sir, darlin’’ and moved her way around the table taking everyone’s orders. It was a nice extension of our ‘acation.
After that we made the few hours’ drive home where we were greeted by Petunia, River, and Che. Despite our fender bender, it had been a great trip full of great times and great memories.
Now it was back to reality.
To be continued…
