Seth’s story
I woke up Sunday morning in a big, luxurious bed with Zach spooning me. The sun was trying to get in around the curtains, and one candle still lightly flickered, the rest had long burned out. I was no longer a virgin. I just laid there basking in the moment with a million things going through my head. I couldn’t believe that Zach said he loved me, or that he came out to his parents, and his teammates, or that I finally gave myself to him. He took so many big steps yesterday, and he didn’t seem phased by any of it. He gave me credit for his courage, but in reality, it was all him. He was taking control of his life and embracing his sexuality. I lifted his hand to my face, pressed it to my lips, and just held it there as I thought about all the bullshit he had to deal with, he seemed to just laugh it all off.
I thought Zach was still sleeping when he whispered into my ear “Good morning”, and I felt his wood push against my crack.
“Good morning” I said back to him as I pushed back against him before rolling over to face him.
“Any regrets?” He asked smiling at me.
“Not a single one” I whispered back “How about you? You made some pretty bold moves yesterday.”
He gave me a little snicker, “No regrets.” We just lie there looking at each other for a while and smiling. “Thank you for last night. This was a nice surprise to come back to. It was perfect” he said as he lovingly kissed my shoulder and buried his face in the nape of my neck.
I looked at my phone on the nightstand, “We’ve got about an hour before we gotta get up for church” I said.
Zach laughed, “I’ll never get used to waking up in bed with you after we ‘did stuff’ and then going to church.”
I laughed at that statement too, it totally hit home. A few years ago, I was afraid that my sinful thoughts alone would cause the church to collapse when I walked through the door, and I’d ultimately burn in the fires of hell. Now… I had just given my virginity to a hot guy, and I consider it a gift from god. I guess I had grown quite a bit. “I know. But that’s what happens when you don’t buy into the bullshit of organized religion, and you build a more personal, spiritual relationship with a higher being instead. Instead of damning your ass to hell for every little thought, he sends good things to remind you he’s there… and you my hot little friend are a fucking awesome thing” I said as I kissed him with a giant grin on my face.
“Have you met yourself?” He said smiling back. “Fuck, Seth. I can’t believe I’m out.”
“You’re not done yet, buddy. You’re just starting” I said. My hand was now in his hair as I continued to study his beautiful face. “Once word is out, people start to talk, and they look at you funny, your friends will want to ask you about it but will be afraid to bring it up. There’s this whole, I don’t know… like awkward transition where you’re out, but you don’t know who knows, so you don’t know what to say or how to act. Life will get a little weird before everything gets awesome.” I said quietly trying to prepare him for the joys of coming out.
“But you’re not going anywhere, right?” He said stroking my cheek.
“Nope. I’m right here with you” I said quietly.
“Then who gives a royal fuck how weird it gets or what anyone thinks.” That brought a smile to my face as we just laid there looking at each other.
I broke the silence and changed the subject completely. “Hey, my brothers wanted me to invite you to Arizona for Thanksgiving. What do you think?” I asked.
“What do YOU think?” He asked.
“What do you mean?” I responded.
“What do YOU think?” he said smiling at me “Do you want me to come?”
“Yes, please.” I said with a smile and a laugh. “I really want you to come, but was afraid to ask, I didn’t want to put more pressure on you.”
“That’s not pressure, that’s a vacation. Of course, I want to go, and I think my parents will be cool with it. We usually just go to my aunt’s house anyway, no one will miss me.” He said.
“I’m just warning you that you’ll be under scrutiny from my big, protective brothers, all their friends, and everyone else in my world. You ready for that?”
He chuckled, “I already met Eli, you told me he was the worst one.”
“Yeah, but he’s just one” I responded. “there will be like a dozen of them grilling you and making sure you’re good enough for me” I laughed, “and spoiler alert… they all love me and don’t think anyone is good enough for me.”
Zach laughed out loud “a dozen of them?! I thought you had three brothers.”
“I do. But we go to Scotty’s brother’s house for thanksgiving dinner. He invites all his friends and neighbors. Mostly gay guys, all hot, and all protective as hell of me.” I said.
Zach’s eyes lit up “Seriously? That’s what your holidays are like?! A bunch of hot gay guys getting together to celebrate?” I nodded. “now if they were all just naked it would be perfect” he laughed.
“Well… if it’s hot enough… they’ve been known to strip and jump in the pool.”
“OH MY GOD! REALLY?” Zach laughed loudly with his eyes bright and opened wide. “We’re really from different worlds. The craziest thing that happens at my aunt’s house is that grandma pulls her teeth out after dinner, and grandpa opens his belt and undoes his fly so he can breathe.” I pictured it perfectly in my mind and laughed out loud.
“Well, you want to come see my world?” I asked again.
“Yes please!” He said with a smile. “I’ll call my parents today.” I was excited. I was really looking forward to going home, but I didn’t want to leave Zach. This was like the best parts of my world coming together… or maybe colliding. Who knows, but I was excited about it.
We got up, I texted Eric to tell him we’d meet them at church. He texted back “WTF are you” and he got a blush emoji back in response. I went into the bathroom, reached in the shower and turned on the water to warm it up. Zach came up behind me and said, “looks like room enough for two in there.” I smiled and we both got under the water.
We soaped ourselves up as the warm water rushed over our naked bodies, then we soaped up each other. I just loved touching Zach’s naked body. His skin was tight and smooth and his muscles firm. He was only eighteen years old, but had a man’s body. I moved my hands up and down the length of his torso making little circles with the soap along the way.
Zach reached around me soaping up my back, then he got to my ass, parted my cheeks and touched my hole with his slick finger “How did it feel?” He asked me, his lips just inches from mine. “Did it hurt? Would you do it again?”
I snickered a little at this curiosity and said “It felt amazing. Honestly, I thought it would hurt like hell, but it was pure pleasure, I guess all the prep paid off.” I said just loud enough to be heard over the water.
“Prep? What prep” He asked.
I blushed a little. Even after we had been so intimate it felt odd to talk about it. “You know... cleaning myself out.”
Zach looked at me in total surprise “you DID that? Really? Tell me about it”
I laughed “No fucking way! I’m not gonna describe an enema to you. Let’s just say I did my research and made sure I was completely ready to give myself to you. It was fucking worth it, it felt so incredible with you in me. I could feel your dick pulsing inside of my hole” I said in a seductive voice.
“Oh my god” Zach said as he kissed me and started to push a finger in my hole ‘I could feel your hole grab me”
“like this” I said as I contracted my sphincter around his probing finger. He let out a guttural moan and wiggled his finger. Oh my god, he triggered something in me, and my semi-hard cock went full mast trying to break out of its skin.
“Oh fuuuuckkkk” I whispered into his shoulder and bit down a little. That encouraged Zach and he moved his finger around hitting the same thing in me that his manhood was hitting last night. It must’ve been my prostate, although I admit I don’t know a lot about the biology of it all. All I knew is that it felt fucking incredible, and I knew he could make me shoot at any time. I had NEVER felt anything so amazing in my life. I don’t know if it was what was happening, or who was doing it to me, or a combination of both. But it was freaking euphoric.
I reached for his cock and stroked it with my soapy hand causing him to fill the shower with moans of pleasure. We just stood there under the water touching each other. My head on his shoulder, my hand on his cock, and his finger up my ass. It was so incredible. Suddenly it snuck up on me. My orgasm built in my balls and worked its way up my shaft without warning. “FUUUCK” I cried as I shot.
“Ooooh myyy good” Zach laughed; you just shot your load without even touching your cock… again!” He reached for my cock and caught as much of my load as he could, he then pushed my hand off his cock and used my cum to masturbate with. I just stood there watching him bask in the pleasure until he shot his load with a big grunt, I knelt quickly and engulfed his cock, swallowing as much of his load as I could. My load was coating his shaft and I was tasting a combination of the two of us. It was perfect. We kissed, sharing our loads, he didn’t even pull back this time. Then we got out of the shower and dried off.
Once the poisons had left the building… we got dressed and headed to church, our backpacks slung over our shoulders. It wasn’t too close by, but walkable. As we were making our way through downtown, Zach’s phone rang. “Shit, it’s my dad” Zach said, “He never calls… hello?” Zach answered. “No, I’m great dad, just walking to church” then he laughed “yeah, Zach takes me to church every week…. yeah…. Thanks, how are you and mom? that’s cool yeah… hey dad, Seth asked me to go back to Arizona with him for Thanksgiving. Do you think it would be okay if I didn’t go to Aunt Hellen’s this year? Cool, thanks. We’re almost to church, I gotta go. Love you too.”
“Well?” I asked when he hung up.
“He just called to check on me. It’s weird, he seems so good with everything, and I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. Ya’ know? He said he’d talk to mom about Thanksgiving but thinks it will be fine. He also said, ‘I love you’. I can’t remember him saying that to me before.” Just then we saw Eric and Max walking towards us, we met at the church steps.
“Where were you guys?” Eric asked motioning to the backpacks on our shoulders.
“Um… celebrating Zach’s victory. We’ll give you details on the way home” I said as we walked up the steps and took our seats and stowed our backpacks under the pew. Church was renewing for me as always.
When it was over, I started to walk towards the fellowship room as we did every Sunday when I felt Max grab my collar. “Not today. We’re going right to Ma Fischer’s and you’re gonna tell us what you did last night.” He said as he turned me around and led us all out of the church. I looked at Zach and we smiled at each other as Max ushered us out of the majestic church.
We started walking to the restaurant and Max said, “tell us about your victory celebration.” Zach started telling them all about the game and his now legendary winning play. Our two friends listened in boredom “yeah, yeah, yeah, tell us where the fuck you were and what happened last night” Max said getting impatient. We both laughed at them, knowing what they wanted to hear.
“Well before we get into that, you Should know I came out to my parents and some of my teammates yesterday.” Zach said trying to divert their attention.
“Oh my god!” Max almost squealed, seeming gayer to me than ever before “that’s huge… are you okay? How’d it go?” Max wanted to know everything and was just starting to blurt out questions.
Eric cut Max off and put his arm around Zach “I’m so proud of you. That’s a huge deal” Zach smiled. He liked those words as much as I did when I came out.
“Oh my god, me too. How’d it go?” Max said squeezing in between us to put his arm around Zach’s other shoulder. The three of them walked together with me behind for the remaining block or so to the restaurant. Zach started to tell them the story.
When we got there, we sat at a table and Max and Eric bombarded us with very personal questions. Eric looked at me with a knowing smile “Our two little virgins aren’t little virgins anymore; are they?” I finally just said “you guys, last night was a beautiful, personal. intimate thing. Can we just say it was fucking awesome and leave it at that?” They reluctantly agreed.
Just as the waitress came to our table Zach’s phone rang, it was his mother “I gotta take this” he said as he stepped outside. I ordered for him. He was gone about ten minutes. “My mom is worried about me “trapsing across the country with a stranger.” Her words. She wants me to set up a Zoom call for 7:30 so they can meet you and make sure you’re not a serial killer. You game?
Eric and Max both started laughing out loud. “We’re coming too” Eric said.
“I’m making popcorn, this will be an awesome show” Max added.
“Shut up!” Zach said rolling his eyes. Then he looked at me “Well?”
“I work until 6:00, but yeah, I’ll be there” I said. Zach smiled and blushed as he apologized for his over-protective mother. I thought it was sweet that she wanted to meet me, and even sweeter that Zach wanted me to meet her.
After we ate we walked back to the dorms, Eric and Max started asking more questions; who was on top? Did you do it raw? Who came first…? And a million others. We just ignored them hoping they would stop. It didn’t work. They were relentless. When we got to our suite, the door was open, and Teddy and Gina were in the lounge. “Where the hell have you been?” Teddy asked his roommate.
“We were celebrating my big win” Zach said. “Seth got us a hotel room downtown.”
“Ooooooooooo” Gina said, “I want details!” Then she looked my way and I blushed. “Oh my god! You finally did it!!!!” She said knowingly, but before she could attack us with questions Zach dropped the big bomb.
“I came out to my parents and some of my teammates. It’s official. I’m queer.” He said with a sense of relief and no remorse.
“Holy shit!” Teddy said with wide eyes, a smile and a giggle. “That took guts! How’d it go? Were your parents pissed?” So… Zach told the story again. Zach was just learning that coming out isn’t a one-time declaration, it’s a process and typically requires you repeating the story over and over. Teddy and Gina gave Zach their full attention as he told them everything.
At the end of the tale, Gina popped off the couch, hugged him and said, “I’m proud of you, Zacky!” That was a first, I’d never heard her call him Zacky before. But it brought a smile to his beautiful face.
Teddy patted him on the back “That’s cool. You can be you. You feel better?”
Zach nodded “I feel great.”
Then Gina bombarded us with questions about last night, and of course Eric and Max started up again. ARGH! So much for a private, intimate moment between lovers. They all wanted dirty details. We weren’t talking, we both just smiled and ignored their probing. While everyone was interrogating us Matthew sashayed into the lounge. “Okay! I just heard we have another sister in here” he said pointing a finger at Zach “and no one told me.”
“Time for me to get ready for work” I said heading to my room, leaving Zach to fend off Matthew on his own. Within about twenty minutes I was headed off to Starbucks for me shift. So much had happened and I really wanted to talk to Cam, it had been weeks since I heard from him. I called again. Straight to voice mail. I texted and told him to call me. I was hoping he would be home for Thanksgiving so I could see him.
My shift was fast and uneventful and soon I was back in the dorms showering and getting ready for my Zoom call with Zach’s parents. When I was ready Zach came into my room, moved my desk around so his parents would see the window, not the beds. Then he pulled up a couple of chairs. “they’ll love you” he said as he kissed my cheek, opened my laptop, and started the meeting. We were first.
It was just seconds before his parents joined in, sitting together. They were both very good looking, and younger than I expected. Barely 40. “Hi boys” his mother said, then Zach introduced us. “I’m glad we finally get to meet you, Seth; I hope this isn’t too weird for you.” She said in a very pleasant voice.
“Not at all, Mrs. Hall. It’s nice to finally meet you both.” I said in my best ‘impress the parents’ voice.
“Call me Kelly” She said.
“And I’m Nathan” his father said, speaking for the first time. “It’s nice to meet you” then he jumped right in “So, your parents have invited Zach to Thanksgiving dinner in Arizona…”
Parents? I looked at Zach and realized that he hadn’t told them anything about me or my background. I think he had just realized the same thing and gave me a weak smile and a shrug. But before I could start filling him in on the details the room door opened quietly and Max, Eric, Teddy and Gina all crept in with a huge bowl of popcorn and sat on the beds with huge smiles watching us. Those fuckers! They knew we couldn’t kick them out without causing a big commotion.
I started to correct Nathan as all our friends looked on with shit eating grins munching their popcorn. “Actually, I’ve been living with my brother and his husband since I was a sophomore in high school.” I said without embarrassment or reserve, “We’ll be spending the weekend with them.” The Halls looked at each other suspiciously. I looked to Zach to bail me out. He didn’t.
“Really? Zach hadn’t mentioned that” his mom said. “Can I ask why?”
I looked at Zach again, he just shrugged, then I hit them with both barrels and just told them my life’s story. Every sorted detail. I told them about the awful things my father did to us, and I did my best to make Brad and Scotty out as the heroes for saving me and my brothers from him (frankly, that’s how I saw them). I also told them about how we had thanksgiving dinner at Scotty’s brother’s house, and how we would all do volunteer work in the morning to give back to the community (Scotty’s brother Kevin started that tradition). At first, I tried to make our unusual family seem as typical as possible, but then I thought ‘fuck that’. We weren’t typical and I was damn proud of the fact that my family was unique and wonderful. So, that’s how I painted them. At the end of my long story, I could tell Mrs. Hall was uncomfortable with what she heard, so I offered “Would you feel better if I got my brothers on the call so you can meet them too?”
Kelly gave a sigh of relief and said, “that would be wonderful if it’s not too much trouble.” Nathan nodded in agreement.
I looked at Zach who had been holding my hand under the desk the whole time and smiled. He was worth it. Then I looked over the computer to our friends who were all wide-eyed, smiling, and still crunching popcorn as they watched the show. It occurred to me that they were getting an education too. They all knew I lived with Brad and Scotty, but I don’t think they all knew how I got there.
I excused myself as I got up and went into the lounge with my phone in hand to call Brad. It took a few rings, but he finally picked up “Hey bud! What’s up?” Brad answered.
“Hey, can you jump on a Zoom call, like now? Long story short… Zach came out to his parents yesterdau and told them he wanted to come to Arizona with me for Thanksgiving.” I explained.
“That’s awesome” Brad said, “We can’t wait to meet him.”
“Well, his parents wanted to meet me on a Zoom call, I can tell they’re uncomfortable with our situation. His dad is the Mayor of a small, conservative town, and his mom is kind of sheltered. I think our story scared them.” I blurted out.
“Ah. You need us to do the responsible guardian routine” Brad said with a smile. This was nothing new to us. When Eli and I were in high school this happened all the time. We’d make a new friend, and their parents would get wind of our situation and make all kinds of assumptions, then they would ask to meet Brad and Scotty. They knew how to work parents. “We haven’t pulled that routine out in a while” Brad laughed. “We’re at Kevin’s for dinner. Send me the link. I’ll brief the guys and we’ll call in and impress the hell outta them.” I thanked him like a million times before I hung up and walked back into the room. Our little gallery of friends was watching me intently as I walked back into the room and sat back down.
“My brother Brad and his husband Scott are going to join us shortly.” I said in an assuring tone. “They’re having dinner at Scott’s brother’s home, as we do every Sunday. That’s where we will be on Thanksgiving day.” I did my best to sound confident, like this was no big deal. I think I succeeded. Zach grabbed my hand under the desk as I sat down, and our friends looked on in anticipation. Hoping for a good show.
Brad and Scotty joined a couple of minutes later, they were at Kevin’s and set up their laptop to face the beautiful desert hills landscape. They were both wearing short sleeve button-downs that were buttoned all the way to the top (that made me laugh because my guess is they were probably all skinny dipping before I called). I made the quick introductions.
Brad spoke first, “It’s wonderful to meet you all. Especially you, Zach. Seth speaks very highly of you.” He was laying it on thick! Zach and the Halls thanked him.
“This truly is a wonderful surprise” Scotty said in a deep, butch, sophisticated voice. I had to hold back a snicker as these two lame-asses hammed it up for Zach’s parents. After a few minutes Gina got curious and snuck around to peak at the screen but stayed out of the range of the camera. Soon all our friends were doing the same. Scott and Brad continued to impress the Halls, answering all their questions respectfully. At one point Scotty’s brother Kevin and his husband Randy came into view. Randy holding baby Scotty, while Matty, their toddler, climbed onto Scotty’s lap and pointed to the screen repeating my name several times. “He misses his buddy, Seth.” Kevin said getting an ‘Awwwwww” from Mrs. Hall. Gina was still out of the camera view and almost squealing at the babies.
Randy grew up in a town just a few miles from the Halls and he and Mr. Hall talked and found they knew a few of the same people. Then Scotty mentioned his dad was a retired lawyer in Wisconsin and Mr. Hall knew the name, so they made several connections. I could tell Mr. & Mrs. Hall were warming up to my family and feeling more comfortable.
“Hey Zach, did Seth tell you about our tradition of giving back to the community on Thanksgiving morning before we get together for dinner?” Brad asked.
Zach nodded ‘yes’ and said, “He mentioned it, but didn’t go into detail.” His mom wanted to know more about it.
Kevin took over “Every year on Thanksgiving morning we do something to give back to the community. This year we’re cooking four meals for people in the community and delivering them.”
“Wow, that’s fantastic” Mayor Hall said, his sense of community piqued.
“Who are the lucky recipients?” Kelly asked.
“Well, no matter what we do, we ALWAYS bring dinner to the police precinct that helped find me when I was abducted by my father a few years ago. Those guys are my heroes” Brad said.
Kevin added “This year we’re also bringing dinner to a military family from Seth’s church. The father is deployed, and the mom is here with three kids, and no family in the area. We’re also cooking for an elderly gay couple who are in their 90’s and live alone in their home near Scotty and Brad’s place, and the fourth is a man that Brad and My husband Randy work with who lost his wife to cancer a few months ago. He and his two kids are still coming to grips with everything, and this is their first holiday without her. So… that’s our plan for the morning.” Kev said.
Mrs. Hall… I mean Kelly, seemed impressed as she said “Wow, what a great tradition and a wonderful way to give back.”
“Thank you” Kev said, “More friends seem to join us every year to help out.”
Mr. Hall looked over to his wife, and said “Well, Zach will be a great addition to your crew.”
“So, you’re comfortable with me going?” Zach asked excitedly.
“Absolutely, I wish I was going with you” his dad said, adding that they would buy Zach’s ticket as a Christmas gift. They also added that they wanted me to consider joining them Christmas eve… but no pressure. We’ve spent the last two Christmases at Scotty’s parents’ house about an hour from campus, so there’s a pretty good chance that we could work out spending Christmas together… assuming Zach and I were still a couple. I mean, this relationship was brand-new and that was over a month away. A month in young, gay relationship time is like... forever!
My family did it. They won over Zach’s conservative parents. Before they hung up, Brad asked that we Skype him when we were finished with the Halls so we could discuss our itinerary. The Halls stayed on the line for a few more minutes before we all hung up. I closed my laptop and our room roared with noise. Our friends and roommates were laughing and joking, throwing popcorn at us.
Gina was still squealing asking me “who was the adorable little guy that kept calling your name, Seth? I thought he was gonna climb through the screen and hug you. He was so CUTE!”
“That’s Matty, Scotty’s nephew. I think of him as my cousin. I miss the little shit, and his baby brother too.” I said, starting to get a little homesick. I was excited that I got to see my family in a little over a week, AND that Zach was coming with, but damn, I missed them all so much.
“Damn, your brother and his husband are HOT!” Max said. “Shit all of them were hot for older dudes!” ‘older dudes’ I laughed at that. Randy was the oldest and he was only 34.
“So, what’s the deal? Do we have to sleep with you to get an invite or can we come too?” Eric joked.
“Maybe we can all go for Spring break” I said as I opened the laptop to Skype with Brad. “Now be quiet you guys, I’m calling my brother back.” When they accepted the call, there was Matty propped up in front of the screen with his face up close to the screen. “Hi buddy” I said, and he screamed my name. That got Gina’s attention and she ran to look over my shoulder at the screen to see him and immediately broke into baby talk, the more he giggled at her the more she talked.
Matty’s face filled the screen, but I could hear the guys behind him “How did we do, son?” Brad said in a deep fatherly voice, then I heard them all laughing.
Zach came and stood in front of the camera and said “Thank you guys! I felt bad for bugging you, my mom can be a little over-protective.”
“Your parents seemed great” Brad said as he leaned in and shared the camera with Matty who grabbed his face and snuggled against his cheek. “We’re really happy you’re going to spend the holiday with us.”
“Thank you for inviting me. I can’t wait to meet all of you” Zach said.
“So, who else is with you?” Scotty asked. “I saw shadows and heard shuffling, it’s obvious you’re not alone.” I turned the laptop around revealing everyone.
“So, which one is Eric, Seth’s roommate?” Brad asked. Eric waved and said hello. Then introduced Max, who introduced Teddy, who introduced Gina. “It’s awesome to meet Seth’s friends. You guys are welcome here anytime.”
Gina put her arm up and yelled “Spring break road trip!”
“BRING IT ON” Scotty yelled. Then said “Well guys, I’m hot I’m jumping in. He took off his shirt and jumped in the pool. I heard Max mutter “Damn, he’s hot” under his breathe.
Well… my two worlds had officially collided. And I LOVED IT!
To be continued…
