Varsity Grip Review

Varsity Grip is a gay wrestling and sex site from the studio that brings us the Say Uncle network and it opened in early 2022, and it's in good company Missionary Boys and Family Dick, and others. This site, or series as they call them, offers us fit and horny guys wrestling and grappling on the mats until one taps out or a fighter's boner catches his opponent's attention. This gives a whole new meaning to stiff competition. We haven't visited the site since our first review 19 months ago, so let's get inside and see what's happening.

The models here are regular gay performers we're used to seeing on this company's sites. They are guys in their twenties like Jordan Lake, Dakota Lovell, Grant Ducati, Masyn Thorne, Eric Charming, Quin Quire, JayTee, and Roman Todd. Some are sporting slim or athletic bodies, although Roman Todd has a hot muscled physique, and they're mostly smooth and clean-shaven. Most of them are Caucasian, but there are two men of color - Alfonso Osnaya and Jayden Jaxx. There are four older men who play coaches: Jax Thirio, Brian Bonds, Joel Someone, and Jake Nicola. They all have well-defined and muscled bodies; Jax is smooth and the other three are hairy.

The action so far takes place in a gym-like setting with floor mats where the guys fight and fuck, as well there's a set of lockers in the corner. The guys wear wrestling singlets and sneakers, and often head gear. In one episode two wrestlers are grappling and trash talking before one lands face down on the mats and the other grabs his ass. Another fighter is trying out for the wrestling team and after a series of holds and take downs, his opponent says that with the right incentive he could talk to the coach to secure him a spot on the team.

No matter the set up, the hard dicks eventually come out, and the fighters blow each other, one rims the other's ass and slides his cock inside. There's no flip-flop fucking within a scene, but a handful of the pairings come back to film a second session; in these second matches, the guy who topped previously now bottoms. These are good quality and play well. You can also stream the videos in a player that resizes them to fit your device. They're available in six resolutions, and the highest quality fares best when enlarged to full screen. The videos played well and look great on my phone and tablet.

Each episode also has a set of pictures. These are good quality digital stills sized at 1080x1620 or 1620x1080, and there are around 10 per set. The pics show off the action well enough, although I wouldn't have minded a few more pics. You can save the pictures one at a time or download whole sets in zip files. The picture viewer has forward and back controls, but there's no slideshow feature.

Your membership gives you a couple of bonus series from the Say Uncle network: Say Uncle Labs offers 53 movies that explore new and titillating themes like what happens when your sex robot goes haywire or what do you do when your step-grandfather's ass turns you on. Say Uncle Extras offers one video, which actually comes from Cocky Boys.

There are actually 62 sites offered at Say Uncle, although they call them series, but to get access to everything you'll need network access. Around 28 of these sites offer original content from this studio from sites like religious-themed Missionary Boys (Mormons) and Yes Father (Catholic priests and 18+ boys) and daddy-boy fauxcest sites Family Dick and Dad Creep, and Brother Crush features stepbrothers together. You'll find security guards perving on shoplifters in Young Perps, Argentinian guys getting off together at Latin Leche and Dick Rides, and lots more. You can join Say Uncle from the Varsity Grip join page, but there's only a yearly option at $349, however, you can also upgrade inside the members area where you'll find a more reasonably priced Say Uncle monthly pass.

There are some downsides. Sadly, the site has stopped producing new scenes and hasn't updated since July 2023. This site has a pre-selected offer on a dropdown menu at the top of the billing page, but you can click it and deselect it if you're not interested. When logging in, you'll land on a full-page ad, but scroll down until you see the "Access Your Content" link to get inside the members area. By joining the site, you are automatically subscribed to the email list with no way to opt out until later.

If you joined via a standalone membership to VarsityGrip, once you log in, you'll land on a network homepage with your VarsityGrip videos featured at the top, but you'll also see all of the Say Uncle network content you won't have access to. It's easy enough to upgrade if you want. This company has toned down the heaps of advertising that used to plague the members area, and while there are still some banners and upgrade come-ons, it's gotten a lot better.

I was a little disappointed with the wrestling aspect of the Varsity Grip videos. One of this company's sites, called Doctor Tapes, did quite a good job of setting up long and realistic medical exams before the doctor actually bones his patient, so I had high hopes for long fighting sessions on this new site. Sadly, most videos feature two minutes of wrestling, albeit realistic, before the cocks come out. There is one 49-minute video (most videos are under 20 minutes) where there was no sex until 30 minutes into the video, but this was an exception.

Varsity Grip features realistic wrestling sessions before the fighters pull out their dicks and get into some hot sucking and bareback fucking. The wrestlers are sexy in their tight singlets which show off their bulges and asses nicely. The guys are a good mix of types from near twinks to jocks and a handful of daddies playing the coaches. The site offers 20 exclusive videos to download, stream and watch on your mobiles, and while updates have stopped, standalone members get 54 bonus videos -  if you upgrade to the network access or get the year membership, there's lots more videos from 27 exclusive sites, plus 35 other gay porn channels too. I'm disappointed VarsityGrip has stopped updating, but if you like watching guys popping boners in their singlets, you should check out this site.
