Chapter 10

Rudy

The Monday after my first night with Leo was a hectic one. I had several meetings first thing and it just got busier from there. I didn’t really have time to think too much about Leo. When I finally left the office after 8, I just grabbed some take out and went straight to my apartment. I sat down to eat after I made myself a drink and opened my laptop to answer a few emails. Leo had sent me a text with his schedule, and it was clear that we wouldn’t be able to get together this week. I promised to watch his game on Sunday, so I decided to do a little research on football. I thought the best place to start was to learn a little bit more about Leo. I Googled him, not sure how much there would be about him. I was shocked when I saw several pages of newspaper and magazine articles about the new kicker for the Sante Fe Bandits. I guess being picked by the team so early was sort of a big deal, that’s when I discovered he was the team kicker. I did a little more research about kickers, that was why he said he only got in for just a few plays each game. I quickly learned that he was a crucial part of the team and was understating his role. I even found some old YouTube videos, some from his high school and college days, he really was very good. This explained why everyone recognized him at Carlos’s and congratulated him. I stared at the screen, trying to process all this. As I read a few of the articles, I noticed that they mentioned a girlfriend. They were from earlier this year when he first joined the team, and none of the newer articles mentioned her. God, why did I always fall for the closeted jocks?

Work was still busy so I didn’t dwell too much on what I had found out, I figured we could talk about it the next time we got together. I kept my promise and watched his game with Kansas City. By the end of the game, I was really into it and was disappointed when they lost. When he called later that night, I told him that I had lots of questions about the game, and he promised to explain all the rules and that we could watch a game together.

On Monday after the game, Josh, one of the guys that I was working with, started talking about the game. For the first time since I came to Sante Fe, I partially understood what he was talking about. Josh was a big Bandits fan and had tried on several occasions to include me in the conversation, I would just smile and nod. Today, when he started talking, I was at least able to relate to what he was talking about, he was impressed.

He said, “wow Rudy, I didn’t think you followed football, so did you watch the game yesterday?”

I nodded, “yes, to be honest, it was the first game I have ever watched.”

He asked, “why the sudden interest in the Bandits?”

I shrugged, “I just met the kicker, he lives in my building.”

His eyes went wide, “you know Leo Foxx, he was great draft pick.”

I chuckled, it never ceases to amaze me how invested fans get in their sports teams.

So, the next day when Leo texted me and asked if I wanted a ticket to the game on Sunday, I asked if he could get two. I told him about Josh being a big fan and the next day two tickets were delivered to the office.

I went to Josh’s office and asked, “do you have any plans on Sunday?”

He arched his eyebrow, “nothing that I know of, why, what’s up?”

I grinned, “I have an extra ticket to the Bandits’ game, do you want to go with me?”

His eyes went wide, “hell yeah, the wife is taking the kids to her sisters for the weekend, so, I’m in.”

I held up the tickets, “I told Leo you were a fan and he’s been trying to get me to a game, so he sent over two tickets.”

I couldn’t pry the smile off Josh’s face for the rest of the week. I asked him not to tell the others where he got the tickets, I didn’t want to take advantage of Leo’s kind gesture and have everyone in the office asking me for tickets.

Josh’s house was on the way to the stadium, so I picked him up on my way. I laughed at his excitement, it was as if he was a 5-year-old on Christmas Eve. I was actually glad that I didn’t have to go to the game alone and Josh answered a lot of questions that I had. The game was making more sense to me with every game that I watched. The Bandits were back to their winning ways, I watched Leo make all 3 of his field goals and both extra points. We had really good seats and although I couldn’t tell Josh, I was enjoying seeing Leo in his tight uniform in person, and not on a small tv screen. We were sitting behind the Bandits bench, and I noticed Leo looking back at us several times and flashing that smile. As the game ended Leo turned to us once again and waved us onto the field. Josh couldn’t contain his excitement as Leo met us at a gate and had security let us onto the field. I introduced Josh to Leo.

Josh shook Leo’s hand, “thanks so much for the ticket, and it’s great to meet you.”

Leo grinned, “you’re welcome, I’m glad you were able to watch us win.”

We chatted for a few minutes, I smiled as I saw Leo interacting with Josh and several other fans. His shoulder length hair framed his handsome face, highlighted by his dimples and his broad smile. I couldn’t help but notice the nice bulge in his tight pants.

He shook Josh’s hand again, “hey thanks for coming the game, I need to get to the locker room.” He gave me a smile, “give me a little over an hour and I’ll meet you at Carlos’s, I’ll buy the first round.”

Josh grinned, “hell yeah, the wife and kids won’t be home for a couple of hours, I have time for a quick one.”

I watched Leo turn and ran to the locker room, again I was checking out that sweet ass as it bounced up and down. Shit, I was really falling for this guy.

We stopped at Josh’s place so he could pick up his car and I wouldn’t have to take him back home. We had finished our first drink when Leo walked into Carlos’s, he again was greeted with cheers and congratulations. Leo joined us at our table and Josh had a solid stream of questions and comments about the team and football in general. Leo was so patient and listened to everything Josh had to say and answered all of his questions. Josh got a text from his wife that she would be home soon, he finished his beer and thanked Leo again.

Leo chuckled as he walked out the door, “I think he enjoyed the game.”

I laughed, “I would agree, I told you he was a big fan.”

He smiled, “so, how did you like the game?”

I shrugged, “the more I learn about the game, the more I am starting to enjoy it.”

Leo said, “if you want to come to my place tomorrow night, the Bengals play the Seahawks on Monday Night Football, I can explain more of the rules while we watch.”

I grinned, “I would like that.”

He arched his eyebrow, “if you want to come over tonight, we can do a little pregame warm up.”

It had been two weeks since our last time together, so my blue balls quickly agreed to Leo’s suggestion.

As soon as Leo closed the door behind us, we were kissing and pulling each other’s clothes off as we made our way to his bedroom. As we stood next to the bed and kissed, I ran my hands down his muscular chest and washboard abs. It was covered in a light coat of sexy fur, I paused at his erect nipples to give them a little tweak, as Leo grabbed my ass and our hard cocks rubbed together. I broke our kiss and moved down Leo’s chest and stomach, leaving kisses along the way. I licked his bellybutton as I took his 7-inch cock into my hand and began to stroke him. He let out a sigh as I licked the drop of precum that had formed on his dick head. I looked up at Leo and smiled as I opened my mouth and encased every inch with my throat. Leo moaned as he grasped the back of my head and began to fuck my face, he tasted so good. I sucked until he pulled me to my feet, we kissed again, and he grinned at me, “my turn.” With that, he fell to his knees and gave my aching member the same treatment that I had just given him. Damn, he knew what he was doing, he was hitting all the right spots. Before Leo had me past the point of no return, I pulled him up and we fell onto the bed, and we soon were sucking each other again. The last time we were together, Leo fucked me, I wanted to see how receptive he was to turn the tables. I kept sucking his cock as I slowly worked my finger closer to his hole. Once I reached my target, Leo opened up like a blooming flower, exposing his sexy pink pucker. I had gotten the response that I was hoping for, I let his dick fall from my mouth and began to give him the best rim job I knew how to give. From the sounds Leo was making, I was succeeding, and he rolled onto his back and pulled his legs straight up. I doubled my efforts as I worked Leo’s hole over and was soon rewarded when he panted, “please fuck me already.” I quickly obliged Leo’s request and aimed my swollen manhood at his winking hole. I pushed in as we locked eyes, I bottomed out and began to piston in and out. Leo gasped, “you feel so good inside me, give me that dick.” I breathed, “and you are so tight, I love your hole.” I continued to fuck Leo until he pushed me back, he said, “I need to ride that cock, get on your back.” Again, I complied as he grabbed my stiff pole and lowered that sweet ass down until his nuts were resting on my stomach. He sighed as he started to bounce up and down, his ridged man meat flopping with every bounce, his precum dripping down onto me. He had his hands behind his head as I held on to his hips, Leo was controlling the rhythm and if he kept up the same pace, I was not going to last much longer. Our eyes met again as I felt my nuts tighten and the pressure began to build. Leo must have sensed this and increased his speed, sending me over the edge. As soon as I sent my sperm flying inside Leo, his eyes rolled back and his cock sent a huge load of cum spewing across my stomach and chest, and he hadn’t even touched himself. We collapsed onto the bed as we tried to catch our breath. Leo panted, “holy fuck, I have never cum without touching my dick before.”

I chuckled, “I have to admit, I have never seen that before either.”

We cleaned up and I went back to my apartment, I still had some work I wanted to do before Monday morning. I didn’t get much work done, I was thinking about where things were going with Leo. He was hard to read, did he want something serious and long term, like I do? Was he just looking for fun while he was working here? He had told me on more than one occasion that he could be traded to another team or cut at any time. Of course, in three or fourth months, my job here would be done too, how would we deal with that? Every time we did talk, it became clear that he was still not out to many people. Other than me and his boyhood friend Robbie that he always talked about, I’m not sure he had told anyone. I guess I understood a little bit why he hadn’t told his teammates about his sexuality, I knew how athletes could be a little resistant to the gay community. Leo told me that he didn’t tell anyone, and no one had asked, so technically he wasn’t lying about anything. While I was a little disappointed in his explanation, I did sympathize with his position. The situation with his college girlfriend was a little less clear. He just told me that he hadn’t seen her since they graduated from college.

Maybe I was overthinking all of this, I mean we had only been talking for a couple of weeks. It’s not like we were close to getting married or even moving in together for that matter. Maybe I was getting ahead of myself, why can’t I just enjoy his company and the fun that we were having and see where things go? I tried to fall to sleep telling myself to just take this one day at a time, and not to expect too much, just enjoy the ride.

The next day at work I was still laughing at Josh as he was gushing about meeting Leo and going to the game. Near the end of the day, I got a text from Leo asking if I was still coming over to watch the game tonight. I replied that I would see him at 8.

Leo greeted me at the door with a smile and a kiss, he made us each a drink as we sat down to watch the game. We started our lesson with him explaining how the NFL was divided into 2 conferences with 4 divisions in each conference. The winners of the divisions would meet in the playoffs and the winners of each conference play against each other in the Super Bowl. By the end of the game, we were talking about how the team would use analytics to decide what plays to run and when it was best to kick or run a play. This, of course, was easy for me to understand and I could see how this would be beneficial to the team.

Leo continued to get me tickets to the home games, and I always watched his away games on TV. My dad even came to town, and I was able to take him to a game. I just told him the same as I told Josh, that Leo and I were friends because we lived in the same building, and he got me the tickets. The Bandits only lost two more games over the rest of the regular season and had secured a spot in the playoffs. I kept reminding myself that we were having a good time and that if anything serious developed it would be a bonus. It was hard because I was really starting to have feelings for Leo, it seemed like he had feelings for me too. To make matters worse, I really didn’t have anyone I could talk to about this. I hadn’t talked to Bo since high school, and I had heard that he was getting married. I knew I didn’t want to call Ben and the last time I talked to Zane, I learned he had met a new guy. Besides, I knew Zane would ask who I was seeing, and I didn’t want to risk outing Leo. As much as I wanted Leo to be honest, I wasn’t going to force him to make any announcement before he was ready. I kept telling myself that once the season was over we could have a long talk about all these things.

The week of Leo’s final regular season game, I was doing my laundry and found a couple of shirts that he had left at my apartment. It was the day that Leo usually gave me my ticket for Sunday’s game, so I decided to take his shirts to his place and pick up my ticket.

I knocked on his door and was surprised when a women answered.

She said, “hi, can I help you?”

I stuttered, “um, well, is Leo home?”

She looked me over and said, “he’s in the shower, I’m his girlfriend Megan, who are you?”

I said, “I’m Rudy, I live just down the hall.”

She said, “ok, is there anything I can do for you?”

I panicked, “oh, I was just bringing back his shirts, they got mixed in with my laundry.”

She nodded as if she wasn’t sure she believed me, “ok, I’ll make sure he gets them.”

I handed her the shirts and quickly turned to go back to my apartment. Before she closed the door, I heard Leo come out of the bathroom and say, “hey Meg, who was at the door?”
