Here it is at last: the conclusion to The Mission. Hope you enjoyed the ride. It is my absolute favorite of all my stories.
I surely would appreciate any comments, emails ([email protected]) and your thoughts about the whole saga.
The morning firehose removes the crusting scum and muck from Sarge's torso, while it would seem Pvt Johnson is about to have other things removed. L.T. learns about his pending future.
You thought Dieter was bad? Peck reveals to Sarge that he is a true psychopath; describing his background and how he came to be in possession of the camp.
This one is quite dark, not for the squeamish. But, it DOES show us just who Peck really is.
All the abducted Marines are now together. Dieter informs L.T. of the previous night's forest brutality. We learn the morning routine of the camp and what happens when the rules are not followed.
(This one's for Daniel W, who has an inordinate interest in Dieter.)
L.T., still unconscious, is displayed. Sarge now belongs to Dieter, at least for the night.
In this conclusion to the story, Wolf has finally had his retribution. But what of Pig?
Thanks for reading. Appreciate comments/emails. There may be more.
