Brian waited eagerly outside, by now most of the fans had left the building. Jaxon finally exits the building and a broad smile spread across Brian’s face, and without a second thought, he rushed forward, wrapping Jaxon in a big bear hug. Jaxon tensed up instinctively but quickly relaxed when he realized it was Brian. Laughing, Brian began showering him in kisses, his excitement impossible to contain.
“I’m guessing you liked my speech?” Jaxon asked with a laugh.
“I LOVED it!” Brian exclaimed, practically glowing with pride. He loosened his hug, lifting his hands to Jaxon’s face and resting his forehead against his. “I love you,” he murmured, his thumb gently brushing over Jaxon’s cheek. "Te amo con todo mi corazón." With that, he leaned in, pressing a soft yet passionate kiss to Jaxon’s lips.
Jaxon responded with a deepening kiss, letting his actions convey all that he felt. They held each other in a quiet embrace, the world around them fading away as they lost themselves in the moment.
Finally, Brian broke the silence, a playful glint in his eye. “Alright, you ready to get outta here?”
Jaxon chuckled, casting a glance back at the building before nodding. “Yeah, I’m tired of looking at this place.”
Hand in hand, they walked to the car, exchanging smiles and warm glances.
As they made their way home, Jaxon noticed Brian sneaking quick glances over at him. Brian had always looked at him with affection in his eyes, but tonight, every time their eyes met, there was something different—a spark that hinted at a deeper intensity, almost like hunger. At least, that’s what Jaxon thought it was.
Before he could dive deeper into his thoughts, Brian’s hand settled on his thigh. Jaxon immediately noticed, but forced himself to not react.. Over the past few weeks, he had grown used to Brian touching him; in fact, Brian was the only person allowed to touch him without warning. But tonight, the placement of his hand was different—higher, warmer, more intentional.
In their previous dates, Brian’s touches had been subtle, always respectful, and often innocent: a friendly hug, a gentle hand at his back, maybe a brush of fingers across his arm. Nothing ever so... intimate. This, though—this was different. It hinted at a desire that neither of them had fully expressed, at least not in words. And to Jaxon, who had wanted Brian —badly— from the day they met, that small, daring gesture was a spark to the tinder he had carefully kept from igniting.
Jaxon was a very disciplined man. He had to be to be as great a fighter as he was, but —for weeks now—he had been fighting back urges that grew stronger with every moment he spent with Brian, each shared laugh, every lingering glance. He had kept those feelings buried, like cinder blocks sinking to the bottom of a lake, holding his desires in check to avoid rushing anything. If there was one thing Jaxon had, it was self control. But around Brian, it took every ounce of it to keep that discipline from unraveling.
Now, with Brian’s hand resting so high on his thigh, that carefully guarded self-control was slipping. A touch as simple as this was easily shattering the resolve he’d been so confident in, and in that moment, Jaxon felt his true desires rise to the surface, undeniable and raw.
Jaxon could feel his body reacting, his breaths growing heavier, his pants tightening as Brian’s hand on his thigh felt more noticeable than ever. Brian’s touch sent a tingling warmth through him, igniting a response he could no longer hide. Brian, for his part, wasn’t oblivious to what was happening. He could see the subtle changes in Jaxon—the way his posture shifted, the slight tension in his shoulders, the way he looked down almost shyly, and the warmth visible in his expression. Though Brian remained silent, the giddy smile playing at the corners of his mouth gave away his enjoyment, making it clear he knew exactly what effect he was having on Jaxon—and he enjoyed every second of it as they neared their destination.
When they pulled into the driveway, Brian turned to Jaxon, his expression a bit more serious, though his smile never completely faded. “You know, there’s something I’ve been wanting to do with you for a while now. I was hesitant at first, given my past relationships, but after today, I’m 100% sure.”
His hand gently caressed Jaxon’s thigh. “There are parts of me I want to share with you. More intimate and delicate things that I didn’t think I’d ever share with anyone again, but I want to share them with you.” Brian slowly removed his hand from Jaxon’s thigh, taking his hand instead, their fingers interlocking. “So I’m asking you, mi corazón, will you accept all of my love—the beautiful, the ugly, the wild, the tender, and everything in between?”
He gazed deeply into Jaxon’s eyes, his vulnerability laid bare, his soul exposed in a way that left no room for doubt. Jaxon felt the intensity of Brian’s sincerity and leaned forward, his gaze never wavering. “I accept it, and I’ll protect it with my life.”
Jaxon was never one for flowery language. He was a man of action, his words usually blunt and to the point. But this simple answer was more than enough. Before either of them realized it, they were sharing a kiss—a kiss that felt different, deeper, and charged with a meaning that went beyond any words either of them could muster in an entire lifetime.
They had kissed before, and those moments had felt incredible, but this kiss—this kiss was something else entirely. This kiss was a promise.
