First fight
After Shahi left for office, Cherry woke up, brushed, went out for breakfast and came home. He simply became negative about life and not getting job and wasted entire day doing nothing. In between had lunch in an Andhra mess and slept like one lazy bum…. Around evening 6.15 Sashaa returned from office and Cherry went to hall. On seeing our boy, Sashaa said that “oh, the queen had woken up, I have requested Narayan Murthy of Infosys to come home and give offer letter, because queens need not attend interviews”. On listening this, Cherry went and stood in front of him and told that “What is your problem sir. Have I been forcefully dumped into this house? You yourself told that we won’t bother each other and so i think we should mind our own business? If you are feeling uncomfortable of having me here, then i can still move out” Sashaa replied “if you are so intolerant then i am sorry. I just wanted to say, if you don’t even wake up at 9 am, who will give you job and then you will have issues paying rent”. Cherry thought it’s all about paying rent that have bothered him and asked should he pay this month rent in advance? Sashaa denied for that and silence filled the room with Cherry went into bedroom and Sashaa reading newspaper in hall.
First Sympathy
Then an unexpectable twist happened and to break the silent situation, Sashaa got call from his wife, which raised his BP. Cherry forced to listen the Delhi abusing words. Sashaa was shouting like how many times do you call in a day, have any sense or not, yes I am sleeping with other women and you also sleep with other man, I don’t care and also started abusing her parents, relatives and all in high pitched voice.
Cherry felt very bad to hear the drama and started shivering after hearing his loud voice. Cherry was sure that he would break some plastic chairs because of angry and witnessed the red face due to angry. For a second, he wondered whether he landed in a mental case house or what? Then it was quite for somewhat and time for dinner, so Cherry pushed out courage and asked whether he wants to join for dinner. But Sashaa refused by telling that he got headache, wanted to sleep, not in mood also and hence he can carry on. Our lovable boy still brought some parcel hoping that he may eat something. But before Cherry reaches, angry bird taken sleeping tablet (trika 0.5 mg strip, those time sleeping tablets were available without prescription) and fall asleep. Cherry could notice 2 cigars burnt in ash tray. This is how second day went and Cherry felt very bad Sashaa.
First liking about personality
Next day, Cherry woke up along with Sashaa and started his studies. Cherry didn’t forget to ask how Sashaa is feeling today. He replied that he is okay and left for office. Again, whole day got wasted thinking about him and about the dangerous situation he is in. Once he back home from office, Cherry asked whether he like to have some tea since he is going to get some parcel. Cherry got some tea and Saridon Strip which Sashaa asked for while he is leaving for tea.
Now for the first-time normal conversation started between two, since from the day Cherry landed to new house, both were like Tom and Jerry. Cherry started with enquiry on what kind of work Sashaa does and whether got any opportunity for himself there. Then they talked about current job market and share market. Sashaa had good knowledge over share market, debt, funds, equity etc. He was mentioning that he was missing TV as he watches sensex and nifty regularly. Then they went out for a walk to breath fresh air while angry bird had a cigar. Sashaa was updating about his education, first job and all. For the first time, our hero started liking angry bird for his personality. Sashaa narrated about his childhood, struggles he faced which made him self-made man without any support and how he got fired in some jobs towards his aggressive behaviour.
Since it was time for dinner, they entered a restaurant and order for both, which Sashaa couldn’t eat half of his dinner and just had some juice. Sashaa snatched the bill from Cherry with a comment that he can pay after starting to earn until then let me do.
After dinner they went home and continued the chatting. Sashaa asking Cherry to be more disciplined, to have schedule, apply for jobs day and night. Third day made both to come closure and have some better understanding between each other.
Advice to Cherry
The fourth day almost went routine, Sashaa going to office, Cherry studying little, evening went out and having tea. After return from tea, Sashaa got call from his wife and again a full drama. Cherry tried to cool him and advised not to be so much toxic which will affect your health while shouting, screaming and taking sleeping pills. But he is not interest in discussing that topic and started telling why he came to Bangalore and about his future plan, etc. Also, Sashaa advice Cherry to try for abroad opportunities and settle. India is only good to live if you are a celebrity, journalist, media, sports, and a well-known figure, who roams in AC car with a driver and not for salaried service men. After 13 year now (ie., during April-May 2021, when this story was written), Cherry realised that what he said is 1000% true. That day ended with normal routine of dinner, discussion and sleep.
Till here he narrated the story on second day.
Third day of the Narration
Visit of the owner
Again, on routine normal day, one more twist happened. While our boy getting ready and planning to go out for breakfast and cybercafé, door got knocked. On opening the door, Cherry saw a lady around age or 37 to 40 who introduced to be owner of the house and ask whereabouts of Sashaa. For him, she was acting like one heroine with smiling and blushing all around. Cherry told I will dial him, but she refused it is not urgent and will come back in theevening. Before going back, she enquired about Cherry for that he changed topic and said that he was hurry in going out, so better come in the evening since he was not sure what Sashaa told about him and all.
Evening after Sashaa return from office and which having tea, the owner lady came knocking on the door. She came in revealing clothes and walking like a heroine. She was bluffing at Sashaa by saying you don’t look like 50 years. She was asking whereabouts of his family and whether he is staying there alone (smiled in wicked way like flirting). For that Sashaa replied by pointing Cherry, that “no no, I am staying with my Nephew”. Cherry got shocked on hearing the same and thought what a bluff master he is?
The topic changed to food. She was enquiring about how they manage food and whether they need monthly package offer in Andhra Mess run by her and her brother and they want to try today. They told to try for tomorrow which made her disappointed. Before leaving she told not to feel shy and they come to her house for watching TV or news. Cherry thought / felt it is invitation for Sashaa alone and she totally fallen for him and wants him on bed. Her husband was into real estate and broker business. So whole day she will be alone and kids in school. Further she told that she doesn’t like to come home to collect rent and better Sashaa come to her home to pay rent so that he can have a cup of coffee too. Cherry wanted to pull her legs and told he drinks only tea and not coffee. After that she left saying bye.
First touch / holding of hands
After the owner left, they stepped out. Due to crowd in bus, they took auto and got down in Sony World Signal. It was indeed a beautiful evening. Boyfriends, girlfriends, couples and others are waiting to cross the road at the big zebra crossing junction which is heading towards forum mall. It was very nice cloudy weather. Cherry hold Sashaa’ s hand while crossing the road and felt so warm. Sashaa asked whether he is afraid of crossing road alone? Cherry replied no but have this habit from childhood and then took off the hands. Sashaa with a smile said it’s okay to hold and held Cherry’s hand and locked fingers tightly. Holding each other’s hand is a sign of saying that “whatever happens, don’t worry, I will be there with you always”. Thus, how that evening became even more beautiful.
Purchase of Television
While walking talk went on owner and her invitation to Sashaa alone for watching TV. They noticed big bazar and Sashaa told let’s look out for small TV. Saw a flatron Sansui TV for 5.5k and purchased the same. Cherry was explaining how he bargained for making sales guy to accept for free delivery, since at first that person didn’t accept saying JP Nagar is far. Sashaa convinced by telling that “His house was going to be full of their goods, so don't charge him as he will be a loyal customer and later, they need to regret for charging him”
Transfer of Car Drama
After purchase over, they had dinner in a restaurant and came back to home in bus since autos are charging extra. Now topic went on food, whether to try Andhra mess as offered by owner or to come down Koramangala, which is not possible daily and also it will be boring after sometimes. Cherry asked him to be positive and let them try in Andhra mess and if not good, will try for something else. At that time Sashaa told that he can try to bring his car so that they need not to spend more on auto rikshaws. He had alto Lxi in Lucknow. So, he called his son and asked to enquire about the cost for loading car in transport for Bangalore. His son replied that he was outside and will go home and call after discussing with mother.
After reaching home, Sashaa’s wife called and there started a big fight as usual but this time topic was car. It went like this, why car is required in Bangalore, what we will do for purchases and attending functions. Then Sashaa told to send the bike but that is also seems difficult because his son was in engineering first-second year and aged around 19-20, so it is not possible for him to give up bike which is required for college and other places. So again, fight / drama started.
After that, they went to sleep, and day closed with emotions.
