Twink Mix Review

Twink Mix features smooth Russian Twinks with slender bodies. While the models are twinks, there's also some variety; you'll find some real cuties, plenty of boys next door, some average to homely guys, a few bad boys, and even some ripped or gym-fit studs. Some of the guys have dark hair, there are blonds and even a few redheads, and while all the performers are slender, some are fit and a bit athletic while others might be considered on the skinny side. All the twinks I checked out had smooth chests and abs, but a fair number have treasure trails and unshaved or trimmed pubes; some also have hairy armpits. Older videos come in F4V format, and they’re smaller at average quality, and don’t enlarge very well without losing quality. The videos can be streamed, and they worked well on my desktop and phone, although on my desktop, they play in a pop-up player that you have to enlarge by pulling a corner.

The TwinkMix picture sets contain good amateur quality digital stills sized at 600x900 or 800x1200. The pics show off the guys well. Navigation through the galleries is challenging as you have to pass through a preview page to get an actual gallery, which the site calls an album. And you'll probably want to use the selection with slideshow because otherwise you'll be using your browser back button a lot; you can use forward and back controls manually here, as well. Closing the gallery or moving on to another requires scrolling to the bottom of the page for options. It's clunky, but once you figure out the quirks, you'll be fine. In the viewer you can save the pictures individually, however, the site no longer offer downloadable zip files.

There aren’t as many updates as I had hoped given that it’s been nearly three years since our last review. The site has added 57 videos and 34 photo sets, which works out to an average of 1.7 videos per month; that's as close as I can figure since there are no dates on the videos. When we were here 33 months ago, they were adding anywhere from five to eight updates per month, so they've slowed quite a bit. Luckily you get some bonuses. 

Twink Mix offers two types of memberships. Basic members get access to Twink Mix content with previews on the members homepage for the latest releases from Pirrer House and Russian Guys Feet. The Premium membership costs an additional $10 on top of the Basic membership, and it gives you full access to RuTwinks, Twink Mix, Russian Guys Feet, East Videos, and Pirrer House. But even the Premium membership requires some upgrades to fully enjoy parts of one of the bonus sites. For instance, you're given 120 chat tokens to use in the live cam house (Pirrer House), and you’ll have to purchase more once they’re gone.

The trial members gives you streaming access to RuTwinks and TwinkMix - thereafter, if you let the membership convert to the full option, you’ll only get download access to RuTwinks, and you’ll have to pay an addition $4.95 for access to Twink Mix. You’re better off grabbing the Basic Membership which gives you streaming and download access to TwinkMix, plus bonus access to EastVideos and Tube, as well as some other bonuses.

There are some other issues. There's a download limit of 10 GB every 24 hours. Some of the claims on the join page don't apply to basic members; only premium members get access to the live cams and bonus stuff, and trial members can only stream the videos. When you log in, you're taken a sort of full-page ad dedicated to upselling you, and then you land on the members homepage that gives you access to your content, plus previews of everything else, and special live shows that require the Premium membership. Some of the videos could use a little work on the quality side, and navigation is challenging as you’re hit with a barrage of ads and come-ons for the other premium parts of this network. Also, there's no model info or profiles and no scene descriptions, either. Finally, Twink Mix isn’t updating as much as it used to and if you decide to opt for the premium or trial membership, you'll be joining the Super Twinks network, which includes Twink Mix.

Twink Mix delivers Russian twinks in exclusive videos and picture sets.
