Rod's Room is a site from Next Door Studios that brings together top performers in raw suck and fuck action, mostly duos. Its unique gonzo filming style puts us right there in the action, and we get a close-up look at these hot men as they gulp one another's cocks, kiss, eat ass, and fuck. Director and photographer Michael Vegas not only captures the models beautifully, but he gets them to shed their inhibitions and explore new ways of turning each other on sexually.

The site features 30 super-hot hunky men, and they bring us studs including Ben Masters, Devin Franco, and DeAngelo Jackson while Michael Boston and Ty Santana, Dakota Payne and Beau Butler, Brandon Anderson and Roman Todd are the performers who helped launch the site, and there are more handsome and horny men you'll be familiar with in the lineup. All the guys are well-known gay porn stars, although a couple are newer to the industry. The men have gym-fit to muscular bodies, and while most are smooth and clean shaven, there are a handful of hairy studs and some sporting face scruff.

The filming style at Rod's Room is decidedly different. Director and photographer Michael Vegas introduces us to the guys in unique ways. Michael Boston and Ty Santana are rubbing their tighty whitey bulges together, and the director says, "Do you think if you rubbed them fast enough you'd start a fire?" After some more cock teasing, he finally pans up Michael and Ty's ripped torsos and brings their faces into the shot. "Oh, hello," he says. "I'm so glad you're here today to play in my room." Many of the scenes start similarly. Dakota and Beau open by introducing themselves, then they kiss and pull off one another's muscle t-shirts. Brandon and Roman loosen one another's shirts and ties, and the director instructs Roman to suck on Brandon's nipple.

Rod's Room offers 44 videos, 22 action videos and 22 behind-the-scenes videos. The videos are offered in MP4 format, and you can download them in eight sizes, including a 4K version at 3840x2160, two other large sizes at 1920x1080 and 1280x720, and five smaller sizes. The videos are good quality, some shot indoors and others outdoors with good lighting and sound. You can stream the videos in any of seven sizes, and even the 4K version can be streamed. You watch them in a player at 880x498, and there's a theater option that enlarges them to 1400x790, if your monitor is big enough. They play well and there's a full-screen option where the higher quality versions fare quite well. The site is mobile compatible, and the videos looked great on my phone.

Each episode has a set of pictures. The action scenes offer around 100 good quality digital stills sized at 1280x1920. You can save the pictures individually or download whole sets in zip files. The picture viewer has forward and back controls, but there's no hands-free slideshows. The behind-the-scenes videos have a smaller gallery of around 10 good quality digital stills, and these give us a behind-the-director look as he films the guys sucking and fucking.

There's been a change when it comes to updates. RodsRoom had been adding two videos each week - an action video and a shorter behind-the-scenes video. In the beginning of January, there seemed to be a break in updates, and since then, the site has added two updates per month - one action video and one behind-the-scenes video, both added on the same day. They're not added on any schedule - the update for March was on the third while the update for April was on the 14th, so there can be a long gap between updates.

Rod'sRoom members get access to the entire Next Door Studios network, which offers over 5,200 videos from 29 channels including long-running site Next Door Buddies, 350+ videos from Next Door Twink, audition videos at Next Door Casting and lots more. Some of these Channels offer all the content from a given site, some offer only some. But overall there's lots of guys sucking and fucking or jerking their cocks and lots of updates; in the past 30 days, the network added 23 videos, so there's always something new to watch.

Let's talk about issues. When joining RodsRoom, there's a pre-checked offer on the billing page; if you're not interested, it's easy to uncheck. Trial members can only stream, not download, the videos. By joining, you automatically agree to receive commercial emails, and you can't opt out until you receive your first email. And you must cancel at least 48 hours before your membership is due to recur; otherwise, you may be billed one final time after cancelling. When exiting from the billing page, you'll get hit with a pop-up with a bot posing as a site rep. When you log in you'll land on a full-page ad with a notification pop-up. The site has a 300 GB daily download limit, but honestly that's a LOT of downloads. Finally, while each model has a page with links to their scenes, there's no bio information or stats.

The current network design is more modern, but the navigation is complex, renaming their sites as channels so you can't tell the sites from the smaller collections, and adding a third column, which replaces the simpler top navigation of the previous design.

One last thing. The site doesn't tell us who Rod of RodsRoom is, but the tour mentions director and photographer Michael Vegas. Are they one and the same? It'd be nice if the site flushed this out more, but I suppose it doesn't really matter because he brings out the best in his performers and films seductive, passionate, fun, and dirty sex sessions.

Rod's Room offers high-quality and sexy sessions featuring well-built, handsome and horny porn stars. Porn videos can often have a paint-by-numbers feel with the same old moves, but the videos here are fun with the guys exploring new ways of turning each other on, and the scenes run between 30 to 50 minutes each, while the behind-the-scenes videos are shorter. There are now 44 videos - half action scenes and half BTS, each available to download, stream, and watch on your mobiles. Two updates are added once each month, and members get access to the entire Next Door Studios network. I'm normally not a fan of directors inserting themselves into porn scenes, but I didn't mind Rod's comments and direction. I found they actually added to these insanely hot sessions, and I really enjoyed my visit to this fun and creative site.
