Real Boyfriends Exposed promises us a look inside the bedrooms of real-life couples. Unlike a lot of "boyfriend" sites, which are nothing more than collections of amateur guys in pics and videos, this site says it offers us real-life boyfriends not only having sex but talking in personal interviews. The tour alludes to there being "scandals" too, but I'm also seeing some retired porn stars here, so I'm looking forward to getting inside and see what this site is all about.

The guys here appear to be in their twenties mostly, although there's at least one in his thirties or maybe a little older. There's quite a mix of physiques from a slim and smooth guy who is fairly twinkish to a muscular hairy man with a short Mohawk and face scruff who is more on the daddy side. I don't know all of the guys, but a number of them are - or were - regular porn performers, guys like Micah Andrews, Cameron Kincade and Chad Brock, who incidentally has retired from porn filming. The rest of the guys are mostly smooth Caucasian guys, although there are a couple of Latino guys and one black stud. The quality is pretty good, although I didn't find the videos as sharp as I normally like, and while it turns out the videos are five years old, they could still have been a little better. The videos play well on the site and you can stream them in the same four sizes that are available to download. Again, the quality is pretty good, but they had the same lack of crispness.

Each episode includes a photo set, and these are good quality digital stills. They display in galleries and the enlarged photo pops up in a viewer with forward and back controls to ease navigation. When saved, the pictures display at 667x1000 and they're good quality. You can download the pics individually or grab zip files of entire sets, although there's no hands-free slideshow available.

Members get access to 62 bonus sites as well as three bonus sections divided into hunks, twinks and fetish. What about downsides? There's the pre-checked offer on the billing page that will sign you up for another membership if you leave it checked. If you buy a trial membership you'll only get access to the three latest videos. There's quite a lot of advertising on the site, including a huge ad at the top of all membership pages (this can be closed) and two rows of animated thumbs on all page bottoms. Finally, the tour has a blazing "Scandals" graphic, but I didn't find anything out of the ordinary in the member area so I wouldn't get too excited about that aspect of the site.

Well, Real Boyfriends Exposed is not a new site. While it launched in 2014, the videos were dated between 2012 and early in 2013, and there are no updates dated after 2013. However these videos are available on another site in this network called Real Gay Couples that was really created in August 2012, a while before RBE. Regardless, both sites offer the exact same 13 videos, so that really reduces the network down to 61 sites, and neither site is adding new videos, although some network sites are updating, often weekly.

Real Boyfriends Exposed gets a mixed review from me. I don't know if these are real-life boyfriends or actors playing the part, and it's difficult to check because these scenes are at least several years old. Nevertheless, it's a fun theme, the sex is hot and there are some familiar porn guys in the mix. It's a small site with only 13 videos to download, stream and watch on your mobiles, but it stopped updating pretty much as soon as it launched several years ago. The biggest appeal of this site is the 61 bonus sites, frequent network updates and over 9,000 videos – that's a lot of gay porn.
