Japan Boyz Review

Japan Boyz has been filming Japanese guys since 2003. They began offering us cute Japanese guys in solo jack-off sessions, and while they still offer the occasional solo from new models, most of the action these days is hardcore sucking and fucking. It's been 15 months since we've been inside the site and its network, and there have been some changes we need to talk about. Let's get started.

The site features smooth Asian twinks, muscular jocks, regular guy types, and even a few chubby guys. Most of the performers are between 18 and around 25, although there are also some performers ranging into their thirties, and maybe even a handful in their early forties. A number of the guys have uncut cocks and thick, unshaven pubes. Some of the models like to tease, flirting with the camera before getting down to business; some are shy and nervous barely making a sound, others are horny as hell and very comfortable in front of the camera.

The action ranges from a single Asian twink stroking his cock to horny duos, trios, and fourways with plenty of oral sex, fucking, and Japanese guys blowing their loads. These days, more and more of the scenes are filmed bareback, although condoms still appear occasionally if the models prefer using them. Occasionally the guys wear traditional Japanese robes, but usually not. A few of the solo sessions include interviews, and these are usually subtitled in English. Other movies with Japanese dialogue often don't include subtitles, but some, like the series "Master of the Iron Cock", are subtitled in English. Most of the videos feature guys getting right into the action, but there may be a bit of a storyline like a boss giving a couple of office workers heck for talking, then they all fuck on the desks. Nothing terribly complicated.

Most of the videos feature Japanese guys fucking together, but there are some interracial sex scenes with White, Latin, or Black studs playing with these Japanese performers. There have been two fourways in the last 40 releases. Trans performer Buck Angel even appears in a video with another Caucasian and an Asian guy, and they get into some fisting action. 

Japan Boyz offers you 1,053 videos in MP4 format, and the site updates once a week, although some of the past updates have been compilations. The videos are mostly exclusive, but more about this in a minute. The bulk of the downloadable videos are offered at 1920x1080, plus two smaller sizes. The newer vids are good amateur quality, fairly well lit, and they also stream smoothly. Some of the not-so-new videos appear to have been enlarged from a smaller size, and these don't play as smoothly or look as good. I'm happy to report that all the videos streamed fine on my desktop, phone, and tablet. While most of the videos are exclusive, some of JapanBoyz vids come from Peter Fever East, a Tokyo-based production company for the Asian jock site. 

Let's talk about a couple of quirks with the videos before we move on. The very oldest videos used to be offered in MPG format, but they appear to have been converted to MP4, however I can't be sure this is the case for every one of the oldest vids. Also, when clicking Scenes at the top of the members area, you'll get all of the network videos, not just the ones from this site. You can always click the Japan Boys logo to show only its videos; by the way, you can do this to sort any of the sites in the network.

There are also 1,053 picture sets, one for each video. The pics are screencaps, most sized at 1920x1080 and are good amateur quality; the oldest pics are smaller, sized at 640x480 at average quality, but considering their age, they're not bad. Digital still galleries are available under Photos, the newer ones sized at 1920x1275 at good amateur quality, while the oldest are smaller and average quality. Bonus site galleries are also mixed into this section, so it's hard for me to tell you how many of the sets belong to JapanBoyz alone. All pics can be individually saved or downloaded in zip files, and slideshows and forward and back controls are also available for all galleries.

Now let's talk about extras. Japan Boyz is part of the Gay Asian Network, so members get access to six bonus sites, plus the network itself may have a handful of its own videos. The bonus sites are Asian Boys XXX, Gay Asian Amateurs, Boykakke, Asian Boy Nation, Asian Boy Feet, and G-Dude, which features lots of Japanese guys in kinky action including uniform play and lots of regular gay sex, although the site has stopped updating. Gay Asian Network has shows it's own logo, but that's just the network that house all of the other sites. There are 2,171 videos included in the Gay Asian Network, but these include the 1,053 JapanBoyz videos, and it appears this is the only site currently updating.

Let's address the changes. While downloads are still available here, there has been a significant change. The yearly option allows you to download just 15 videos a month and all other options give you only 10 downloads monthly, so even though there's a 40 GB per day download limit, you'll never come close with those limited downloads. Also, there's currently a special offer that gives you two months initially for the price of one that then recurs monthly. I don't know when this offer expires, but at some point you may see a monthly membership being offered at the same price. 

Let's talk about downsides. There's a pre-selected offer in a dropdown menu at the top of the billing page, but it's easy to deselect if you're not interested. When I clicked the JapanBoyz logo to sort the videos, I noticed that some videos on the last pages were actually photo sets. I don't know how extensive this is, but it calls into question the 1,053 video count. When joining the site, you are automatically signed up to receive commercial emails. There's a 40 GB daily download limit and members are limited to five simultaneous downloads at a time, however given the new download limits, these may never come into play. While there's a link to the Models index, model pages have no profiles. Finally, during our last review we complained about G-Dude videos appearing in the Japan Boyz section, but this issue seems to have been corrected.

Japan Boyz offers a mix of smooth, slender Japanese twinks (some quite cute), well-built jocks and regular guy type amateurs, plus a few guys in their thirties in a mix of solo stroking and lots of hardcore gay sex including duos and threesomes sucking dick, getting fucked, and sometimes trying a little kink.
