Helix Studios has been delivering twink and jock porn for over 20 years, and it's one of the biggest and best-known twink sites out there. The site brings together the company's three main brands: Helix Studios, Spank This, and 8TeenBoy under one roof. There have been some changes, so it's time to head back and check out what's new.

The performers are a mix of twinks, college-aged guys and athletic jocks. You'll find boyish guys from 18 through their early twenties with smooth bodies and dicks that perk up in a slight breeze. There are guys with athletic bodies and still more muscular guys, gym jocks rather than bodybuilders. The Helix performers are almost always clean shaven with smooth bodies. From time to time, the studio brought in older guys like muscle hunk Landon Conrad, bearded Tommy Defendi, ginger hunk Connor Maguire, and sexy Ty Roderick, but these performers usually fill in guest spots and aren't mainstays. Helix has a strong stable of regulars like Devin Holt, Trevor Harris, Garrett Kinsley, Johnny Hands, Josh Brady, Seth Peterson, Alex Riley, and Kane Fox, but there have been plenty of guys who have appeared on the site for one or a handful of scenes before disappearing.

There have been a handful of men of color like Pheonix Fellington, Damien Ellis, Marcell Tykes and others. There have been Latin guys over the years as well, and in April 2020 Helix started working with a producer in Argentina, but that was short lived as there hasn't been a new scene from this producer in nearly a year.

Most of the action now happens in duos and threeways with lots of dick sucking and bare ass fucking. The fucking hasn't always been bareback, but about a third of scenes are bareback. There's plenty of group action, 201 scenes featuring threeways, fourgies, and even as many as seven to nine guys, and 36 of these group sex videos offer double penetration. Those Argentinian productions are almost exclusively group action, although there is some couple and threeway sex, as well. There are 752 solos, and while more of the action these days is hardcore, Helix still occasionally releases some masturbation scenes. These sometimes feature ex-model Max Carter interviewing the guys and giving them a helping hand or a finger up the butt to get them off.

Helix Studios now offers 4,095 exclusive videos in MP4 format. Downloads are offered at 1920x1080, plus three smaller sizes. The quality varies over the 18+ years of production; the newer vids are sharp, clear and well-lit, while the very oldest are blurry, probably because they were stretched to create the largest sizes. I'm not sure it was worth offering them in the two largest sizes because they're almost unwatchable. The two smaller sizes are better, although they're still fuzzy, however, the quality improves quite a bit around 2005. You can stream the videos in a player sized at 920x518 in six speeds, the highest looking best. The older videos play a little smaller, and while they're offered in multiple speeds, there doesn't seem to be much difference in quality. The videos look good and played well on my mobiles.

There are two places to find photos. The first is in the Photos section where you'll find 162 sets usually highlighting a single model. These are good quality digital stills displaying at 1000x1500. Also, on each episode's page you'll find a gallery of between 20 to 30 digital stills; they're good quality, and the action appears to be posed. Each set can be downloaded in a zip file or you can save the pics individually, and there are navigation controls on the viewer as well as a hands-free slideshow feature. Some of the latest galleries are "classic," which means they are recycled; they were on the site previously but have hopefully been remastered. The very oldest scenes don't have online galleries, but they do have zip files allowing you to save complete sets of screencaps sized at 327x240. 

Helix Studios currently updates twice a week, so you can expect eight to nine new videos each month. Of the 48 most recent updates, three are threesomes, 11 are solos, and the rest are horny suck-and-fuck duos.

The HelixStudios members area brings together the company's three main brands: Helix Studios, Spank This and 8TeenBoy. There have been other brands over the years – Fratboy, Latin Studs, Hot Studs and Raw Lad – and their content is here as well. In April 2020, 8TeenBoy stopped producing new scenes, and its content was moved over to Helix Studios.

There are a few of things to caution you about. By joining this site, you automatically agree to receive commercial emails with no way to opt out until later. The trial option may be streaming only, but while they don't mention that in the terms, the tour says the videos are "available for download when you purchase a Full Membership." Helix Studios is impressive. It's a premium studio that brings us some of the hottest twinks and jocks around, most of the newest hardcore updates are bareback, and there are some threesomes and the odd solo in the mix. There are 4,095 exclusive videos to download, stream and watch on your mobiles, and while the oldest videos (from before 2005) aren't the best quality, they're still watchable and you get two new updates every week. HelixStudios is one of my favorite sites with some of the most beautiful guys in all of Pornland, and if you've never been a member, you're in for a real treat.
