Gaywire was founded two decades ago by Bang Bros, the company who started Bait Bus, one of the original tricked gay sex sites. There are a total of 13 sites here with over 1,200 videos covering a variety of niches. Gaywire has recently changed hands, so we need to get inside and see what’s happening with the new set-up. 

Because the videos come from 13 different gay porn sites, you’ll find a variety of men here. Many of the sites were produced through the last decade, so you’ll find popular gay porn stars of the time. Three of the sites feature Black studs in interracial sex, and one of them has massively hung men. Overall, the performers range through their twenties and thirties with athletic to muscular bodies. Here and there you’ll find slim or twink-like guys. The men are a mix some are smooth while others have hairy bodies, and while some are clean-shaven, there are bearded men, as well.

Let's talk about the sites included in the network. Remember Bait Bus? The newest videos are available in five resolutions including a 4K version; the oldest videos don’t have a 4K version, but are offered in four resolutions up to 1920x1080. The newer videos are good quality, the very oldest are pretty poor, and even though these old scenes have versions as large as 1920x1080, they’re not great to watch - you’re better off playing these on a small screen. If you want downloads, they require a paid upgrade on top of the membership you already purchased.

Let's talk about Gay Wire updates. Most of the sites haven't updated for years, but while Bait Bus had stopped producing content between December 2019 and August 2022, they have since tried adding a new scene every other week. Recently, they added a scene every other week in August and September if 2023, but they have missed one in October. Three of the newest scenes feature performers who I know are fairly new to gay porn, so they’re definitely in production again. 

Let’s talk about some of the things I didn’t like about Gay Wire. There’s a pre-selected offer on the billing page in a dropdown menu at the top of the page. You’re able to opt out of it easily by clicking the dropdown and selecting "No thanks, I'm not interested". The 7-day trial membership rebills $7 every 7 days after the trial period, and while that works out to roughly the same cost as the monthly option, months with five weeks may end up costing you a bit more.

The new Gaywire seems to have been rushed to a quick relaunch as parts of the sites are unfinished. Like I mentioned, downloads aren’t included and require a paid upgrade, but at the moment, you can’t even upgrade your membership. I’m disappointed that there are no picture galleries. I know many of these sites had them when they were active, but this company has decided not to include them. While models have profile pages, there are no details about them, the pages simply link to their performances in the network.

Gaywire gets a mixed review from me. On the one hand, there are 13 gay porn sites here offering you gay sex in a variety of niches from gloryhole action to sex in public places, there are bottoms getting their holes stretched by massive cocks, dudes getting fucked on the massage table, and group sex. And there’s Bait Bus with its tricked gay sex theme - it's always fun watching blindfolded straight guys discovering the woman they thought was sucking their cock is actually a man. While most of the sites no longer update, there are 1,232 videos for you to enjoy, and since most are at least ten years old, you probably haven’t seen them before. You can expect a couple of new scenes a month, but the site hasn’t quite fallen into a regular update schedule.
