CJXXX Review

The CJXXX network gives members access to 35 sites in a variety of gay porn niches. There are Asian twink and amateur sites including tickling, piss play, and uniformed action, and the performers are mostly slender and in their twenties. The CJXXX network has grown to offer members 14,750 videos in MP4 format. Some of the videos I downloaded were sized at 1920x1080, plus a smaller size at good amateur quality, while others had a large-sized version at between 640x480 and 720x480 at average quality or better, plus a smaller version. The oldest downloads come in a single size of 704x576 at average quality - there are two links, but both lead to the same video, and neither are HD as the button says. The videos can also be streamed on your desktop, but they need to be downloaded to your mobile device before you can watch them. The quality varies due to production age, but also depends on the size of your screen; the smaller videos may be stretched from their original size to fit larger screens, and this affects the quality a little more.

The network also offers 4,011 picture sets, the same number as on our last visit. Some of the network sites offer good amateur quality digital stills ranging from 600x800 to 800x1200 where others offer average to good quality screencaps at sizes from 480x320 to 1920x1080, often at good amateur quality, although some sites offer much better quality pics than others. You can right-click any thumb, save link as and download the pics you wanted to save individually or you can save entire sets in zip files. One thing I didn't care for is the lack of forward and back controls on the picture viewer; once you view a picture you need to click you browser's back button to return to the gallery; there's also no slideshow feature.

Let's talk about updates. First, the good news. CJXXX has added 330 videos in the past 23 months, which averages to 14 updates per month. That being said, on our last visit, they were adding 52 videos per month, so updates have slowed quite a lot. Now the complicated part: the site shows that anywhere from four to five videos are added daily which seems awfully good, however, many existing videos are recycled with new release dates so they appear as new but aren't really. It's hard to tell how many of the videos are actually new, but it's worth mentioning that most of 34 sites in this network are recycling and several don't update any longer.

Members used to get 46 gay video feeds and a couple of bonus theaters, but these have been replaced; members now get access to 11,956 video trailers in a new section called Studio Partners. These videos are short two-minute trailers and 10-minute tube-style videos from 123 other gay porn sites. You'll find content from all the big players like Next Door Studios, Boyfun, French Twinks, and the list goes on. Videos in this section aren't dated, but I reviewed another one of this network's sites at the beginning of February and there were 11,788 videos, so the section has grown by 168 trailers over 52 days.

There are more downsides. There are two pre-checked offers on the billing page, but they're easy to uncheck if you're not interested. The non-recurring month membership costs $20 more than the recurring one, and since you can cancel the recurring membership easily enough, there's no reason to spend the extra $20. When you join the site, you automatically agree to receive commercial emails and updates with no way to opt out till later. Then there's the lack of consistency - you'll find standard-res, lower-quality DVD rips in some sites, large and good quality HD videos in others; some sites offer digital stills, others offer screencaps, and still others having no pics at all. The More dropdown on the top of the page links to a variety of things that either feature lots of ads for other site memberships or sex toys.

One last thing worth mentioning is that CJXXX is one of six networks owned by the same company and they all share the same members area. What really stands out about the CJXXX network is quantity and variety.
