Everyone living at Fraternity X has to contribute to the biweekly video that pays all of their bills. Ultimately, someone has to get on their knees and take one (or three) for the team. It's simple: no video, no money.
Dirk is a new pledge and thought participation was optional, he didn't feel like it right now anyway. Someone picked him off the couch and knelt him on the floor. Dirk still wasn't giving it the college try, and that's how he ended up duct taped to the ping pong table with his pants around his ankles.
