Reports started creeping out yesterday that legendary gay porn director William Higgins had passed away. According to reports, Higgins succumbed to a heart attack on Saturday.
The gay porn director and producer's career back to the early '70s, and while he had just turned 77 years old, he continued to run his eponymous gay porn site. Higgins updated his personal blog on Friday with a Christmas message for his fans and members.
He produced well-known classics such as A Married Man (1974), Pacific Coast Highway (1981), Sailor in the Wild (1983), and The Young and the Hung (1985). He founded Catalina Video in 1978, and eventually moved to Amsterdam, then Prague where he ran his gay porn site.
