No matter the precise position, no matter if captured in color or black and white, vintage smut is vintage smut. And I'm grateful. I get that at some point whatever is happening in the present will look vintage to somebody. But digital kind of washes out that future distinction at some point.
And images that were once on the printed page will always have a different look. Not to mention the hairstyles (body hair and otherwise) and decor. But I really can't know.
Maybe nudity will become the norm and wearing clothing will be seen as pornographic.
In that world, a 90s J.Crew catalog would be vintage porn. And the 6Tbps (that's terabyte per second) internet installer would be naked as the day they were conceived in a transparent aluminum biohusk.
So that's pretty damn naked.
Of course, except for those with different vision, people did not appear in greyscale in real life. But sometimes when I'm searching for just the right vintage pics, I spot some modern pics that folks have greyscaled (or were shot that way) and I wonder how I can tell the difference sometimes. Sure, hairstyles and decor, but there's something else.
I guess I had a past life as a 1960s pornographer's assistant. I got paid in eye candy.
