Relatively new term similar to impact play, used in SM to denote or group together all forms of striking the body with implements. Used to group a session where paddling, whipping, caning, or similar activity can be lumped into one general term. Not widely accepted yet, as it can be considered to be too general in meaning, such as including slapping.
