The Bro Network Review

The Bro Network is a gay porn network offering two original sites, Montreal-based Masqulin and Amateur Gay POV, and the network also includes access to BroSeekingBro, which is a rebranding of Colby's Crew, Colby Jansen's short-lived membership site from 2017, Hot AF Men, which includes exclusive solo masturbation videos, and Men of Montreal, a site created several years ago by gay porn model Marko Lebeau. There's also a new channel called Casual Dudes which features men in hot sex in newly produced scenes. It's been a year since our last visit, so let's head back and see how things are going.

Because the content comes from six different sites and collections that they call channels, there's a variety of men. Masqulin mixes it up with jocks and muscle hunks with a few twinks here and there and a peppering of bearded and / or hairy men. While the site is a proving ground for newcomers and fresh faces, regular gay porn performers are the backbone of these videos. You'll find well-known performers like Derek Kage, Sir Peter, Dom King, Gabriel Clark, Kit Cohen, Manuel Skye, Rocky Vallarta, and Markus Kage. The site has also introduced us to lots of new guys who are a mix of Americans, Canadians, and Europeans, mostly Caucasian but a few men of color. This site mostly features duo action, although there are just over a dozen threeways, and most of the sucking and fucking happens indoors, but there are a handful of outdoors scenes. The newer videos feature bareback sex, although there may be a couple scenes with condoms, while the scenes brought in from BroSeekingBro and Men of Montreal all feature condom sex. Hot AF features hot men in solo jack-off session and Casual Dudes offers more gay sex.

TheBroNetwork offers 708 videos in MP4 format: 191 from Masqulin, 62 from Amateur Gay POV, 50 from BroSeekingBro, Men of Montreal has 268, there are 51 from Hot AF Men, and new channel Casual Dudes has 86 videos. You can get a streaming-only membership or one that includes downloads. Downloads are available in three sizes: 1920x1080, 1280x720 and 854x480. The newest videos look pretty good and are fairly crisp, however I found some Men of Montreal videos plagued with interlacing or were a little fuzzy, but I got better results playing them on smaller screens. The streaming video player adjusts to fit your device's screen, and they're available in three speeds. The highest speeds fare best in full-screen mode. The videos played well on my Android phone and tablet, and in many cases they looked better.

Each of the episodes has a picture galleries, although I didn't check every one. These offer good quality digital stills sized at around 1280x962 (older) or 1152x2048 (newer), and you can browse them in a viewer with forward and back controls, or there's a hands-free slideshow option. You can save the pictures you like individually or download whole sets in zip files. 

Currently, TheBroNetwork updates with a new scene every Thursday, mostly duos and the odd threeways, but they do add a solo every once in a while. All of the new videos are watermarked with The Bro Network and appear under Videos, but they're also assigned to the various channels. However, I have no idea how they determine what video goes on what channel. Masqulin slowed down production in February, and now most of the videos carry The Bro Network watermark. Also, since we were last here, The Bro Network separated a selection of bonus videos from Next Door Studios into a Bonus section found under Channels, and there's now also a selection of videos from an old and now-defunct site called Jones Exposed which was produced by gay porn star Brandon Jones.

To be honest, The Bro Network is confusing as it has changed the name of the various channels a number of times over the past couple of years, so comparing this review with the last one is difficult. Also, the network has grown way more than it should have with only one weekly update and I'm at a loss to explain where the videos have come from. Finally, some videos watermarked The Bro Network appear under the Men of Montreal channel, probably because MOM hasn't produced a new scene for a number of years. 

There are a few more things to talk about. There's a pre-checked offer on the billing page, but it's easy to uncheck if you're not interested. The trial membership allows you to stream the videos only, and it's important to note that the trial membership converts to a streaming-only option, although on the join page it says it converts to a full membership. So if you're going to want downloads, it's better to cancel the trial and sign up for the full-access membership. The membership with downloads costs a full $15 more than the streaming membership. When joining, you automatically agree to receive commercial emails. And when the site has a sale, you'll often get a pop-over on the tour.

The Bro Network brings together the content from Masqulin and Amateur Gay POV, as well as two retired sites (Colby's Crew and Men of Montreal) with lots of hot men to turn you on. Hot AF brings us sexy men masturbating, and Casual Dudes is a new channel with more hot gay sex. You'll find some gay porn stars, a good number of hairy or bearded men, lots of French-Canadian men, and plenty of big, uncut cocks in a mix of raw bareback and condom sex.
